I am a man I was born in 1976 I saw Olivie de Havilland for the first time in the movie Captain Blood from 1935. Her appearance in the film was not only the appearance of an excellent actress but also an amazing beautiful girl when she was 19 years old she was young and beautiful actually hypnotized me You can it was possible to fall in love with her without memory at first sight. This film, due to her amazing beauty, not only spiritual, but also beauty, was deep in the mine mind. This is a lovely piece and am so glad you posted it. I know all the stories about Errol Flynn being such a rascal. However, in viewing some of these clips and photos, I'm honestly getting the impression that Olivia was the love of Errol's life. You can't fake that level of affection. I wish he would have gotten his life straightened out and married Olivia. I think he would have been much better off. So beautiful and tragic at the same time -- Diane.

Thanks for reminding me. It has been so many years since I've seen "They Died with Their Boots on" that I did not associate the music with the film. I keep watching the Errol and Olivia videos because it reminds me of a relationship I had several years back. In our case, it was a health issue he had (and his subsequent death) that ended it. I guess it shows we all have our life disappointments - even the movie stars.

I stopped by and watched this video again today -- still so beautiful. As young as Olivia was at the time, I'm sure Errol was her first love. So real, so genuine. I hope they get the opportunity to reconnect on the other side -- Diane.
