Genghis Khan I disagree with everyone of you. The cleans are the only thing I don't like. He kinds ruins this band for me. This record was still pretty legit but was all down hill after this for me.

I will never let go of the changes this band went through. I don't dislike the newer stuff but you can't top Augment in my opinion. The lyrics from Garrison and Jesse and Alan's style is just beyond man. This album will always be my favorite!

This used to be one of my lesser favorite ERRA songs for whatever reason. But man that low at 2:58 transitioning into the cleans backed up by those beautifully composed melodic leads is so juicy. The profound lyrics just makes it a transcendental listening experience..

I’m not afraid to say it, they are SO much worse now. Back in these days they had the perfect lineup and they really just were on another level. Sucks that it didn’t last longer.

God I can't even get into their new stuff and I still consider them my favorite band. They replaced Atreyu for me and I know they aren't similar styles but early ERRA completely destroyed my taste for like any other style. Sad that Garrison is gone. ☹️ Alpha Seed fucking slays.

@@patrickbryant2687 I totally feel you. I've searched everywhere for a band that could give me my euphoria fix the same way when I first heard Impulse. Couple of bands come close : Secret and Whisper, Shreddy Krueger, Earthists (JP), some of the earlier The Afterimage stuff, but that's about it. A part of me definitely died with their old lineup. Though I feel if The Artificials (Alan's band post-Erra) had a male vocalist similar to Jesse, that'd totally be my new favorite band.

Whose ERRA?

really intelligent lyrics.

Having a vocalist that's also an English major can really do wonders for writing lyrics. This band was never the same after Garrison and Alan left.

The wait has felt like a million years. Hands down one of my fav bands of all time!

Life is found where it is taken. Those last few parts are so beautiful and so many dont understand. I almost wanna cry hearing those last few verses. Nothing compares. Bringing the knowledge back.

This is really good, I love the Erra sound! Got groove got power leads got sing song vocals, got brootal vocals, and solid screams. I love how the whole band does their part. Can't wait for the album!

Perfection. Perfect voice, perfect screams, perfect bass with a solo, perfect drums, perfect lyrics, perfect synth.

This is the first song I ever heard by these guys. But more importantly, the first metal I'd heard without just chugs and Asking Alexandria-esque lyrics. It was a pretty interesting change of pace at the time.

The riffs from 0:40 to 1:00 (very underrated) and 1:20 onwards are so pretty!! Its so powerful.

I'm in love with this band, not only because of the music, but because of the lyrics, so intricate. One of the best bands I've ever listened to

This album is the most conscious spiritually charged yet extremely impressive composition musically (and thats an understatement) Its devine

Their drummer compliments the music so well, I love it! Each instrument is fascinating to listen to (vocals included). The lyrics are distinguished and engaging. What more can I say... the album art is great too :)

Saw these guys in Dallas back in February ready to see them again.

The lyrical content is unparalleled to anythig else I have heart, such powerful spiritual music. Anyone who percieves this as any other band obviously is either not spiritual, not applying the allusions to their life, or possibly unable to comprehend/decypher the lyrics.

ERRA never ceases to amaze me.

This album blew my mind. I was a bit hesitant since the tempo was pretty fast through the first couple of songs but after Hybrid Earth I fell in love with this. Fantastic work. My album of the year for 2013 by far. And don't get me started about the masterpiece that is Dementia.

8 years later, and it's still true!

Their virtuosity doesn't come from the allurement of what is being heard vocally and instrumentally, rather, it comes from what is being seen and said lyrically. The use of unconventional and well-written figurativeness drifts ones mind into bewilderment, seeking what is being conveyed. That being said, too many bands today write with literal expression; there's nothing extraordinary about what is apparent, it's about what is unknown.
