the dude who mixes the songs is also INSANE good. he does the mixing for Augest Burns Red. his name is Grant McFarland i believe. INSANE mixer. he is the reason you can hear so clearly the vocals overlapping one another, as well as the guitar and bass.

JT has really come into his own as a vocalist. Adds more dimension to his chops. I think that was my only gripe on Neon, the single tone scream.

I'm so glad I got into metal around this time period, so like 2021. It's got the heavies, the breakdowns, the riffs and stuff. But what really solidified it for me are those elements I find in a lotta pop music. The cleans, the ethereal tones, and some electronic elements too. Point is, modern metal is that perfect blend of heavy and calm that makes for the best songs of all time.

Straight to the top of my bangers playlist. JT might be my favorite harsh vocalist right now. Between the last 2 singles from ERRA and the single from Texas in July, i can’t get enough. Dude is crushing it.

Super cool. Saw them a few months back with Invent Animate, Silent Planet and Sentinels. This tune is great. BUT this stuff has got to a point where it could be any of the bands I just mentioned above.

Loved it! I felt like the difference between their last record and this new song is that it sounded more cohesive sonically (idk if that makes sense, I know nothing about the technicalities of music lol) and also less progressive sounding. Definitely has big replay value.

I think overall I'm pretty happy with the tune....the vocals were very well done with J.T and Jesse alternating and backing one another...guitars were very well thought out...THE ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY is in the bridge they used when they had the slowed down lighter verse...they came back with a powerful Scream from J.T and the drums stayed in the exact same rhythm they had used previously in other versus...I would have been double kicking the hell out of those foot pedals for half if not the entire bridge...if you want to support J.T's screaming back into a hardened bridge, match his vocals with powerful double bassed 16th or 32nds timing wise....it would have made so much more powerful its almost crazy...otherwise I'm sold...im waiting for a new album...c'mon guys it's been a hot minute! 🔥

I think Erra got way to comfortable with their sound so in past few years when they been hyped by KZreadbut it didn't progressed since now imo. I was exited to see them live on tour with invent animate and silent Planet, but Invent Animate even was opening band, had that energy and sound that Erra wasn't able to push it when they performed, the performance of invent animate was better then headlining of Erra. And that's a Shane 😅. Erra was the band that was innovative on progressive guitar playing as taping and including very technical tones mixing but I think they sat way to long on this sound. In concert was about to leave cuz for me all songs sounded pretty similar and got bored, I was about to leave in the middle of their performance. Yeah it's big hype on single realize but live their songs are not standing out fmo.

The only criticism I have about this song is Jesse’s vocals seem WAY over processed, and it sounds kinda lame. But that’s their choice obviously, just think it would sound better a little more raw.
