Lyrics:
In the reflection of the water's stream, I watch the current carry me.
Irresolute and indiscriminate, this liquid flux is transcendent.
A birth to conquered memories of sentimental quintessence.
Learning to let go of oneself converts grievance into lessons.
Your innermost thoughts appear physically. Cataclysm is bound to everything.
The event horizon; there is no escaping, inescapable.
Light speeds, black holes, time lapse; we're unstable.
To contemplate the unthinkable, break free from captivity.
Envelope the atmosphere with magnetized waves of processed nerve activity.
Bring me back to the river's edge to bathe in consequence.
Future events colliding, spoken of in present tense.
The event horizon; there is no escaping, inescapable.
Light speeds, black holes, time lapse; we're unstable.
Misplaced ideals provoke tension. There is no escaping it. Dementia in this dimension.
Our neurologic fortitude has been broken through.
All of the pieces once whole have shattered in contact with you. Dementia.
In the reflection of the water's stream, I watch the current carry me away. Irresolute and indiscriminate, this liquid flux is transcendent.
Carry me away.

Some of the best metalcore music that has ever been made, EVER, maybe best music period. It possibly will be unsurpassed in how many people it has moved, effected, touched deeply... man it can give me the feels that rival some of the effects of, um, some mushrooms and such... i don't know how it can evoke such strong responses in me, it is the greatest. But for this reason I almost savor this song, only listening to it when, well i really don't know how i know but on special occasions... I am worried that it will wear off! (It hasn't at all yet...)

@@genjitsu7448 I still can't get over how much they sold out. Their new song is so trash. They're playing the most generic radio sounding music and are trying so hard to mimic thornhill's guitar tones etc hopping on the whole modern metalcore spiritbox type hype train and completely forgot their roots and what made them unique. They're pulling an underoath and it fucking sucks.

A wise choice. I was two minutes late for an appointment with a client the other day and told her that I was wrapping up a song I like. She was about 65 years old, so she didn't really get it, but I won the client anyway. I was finishing up a song off While She Sleeps new album. Perfectly excusable in my book.

@@joeytocd Yes I have to agree. Moments of Clarity and Augment are really good at least for my taste. With their newer stuff my impression is that they have dialed back slightly with melodies in favor of many breakdowns. Also the mix especially of "Neon" is weird as the guitars are almost hidden in some tracks which is a shame.

this song has been my crutch for the past week or so. my friend (who is also my ex) came to visit me this week, flying all the way from san francisco to the UK. the night before i was to pick him up, i was on the edge of having an anxiety attack. really felt like i wanted to listen to this, so i played it (with augment before it, of course). it soothed me instantly. it's like they put special magic frequencies in the song to calm you down. on the day, i was pretty nervous too because usually whenever i go to meet someone i know i have feelings for, i become extremely nauseous and sometimes even puke on the way to meet them. so, i listened to dementia again on the way there. i didn't get nauseous ONCE. that's insane, because it would happen every single time before then. a week later, today, i dropped him off at the airport. i miss him so much, it's actually painful and i've never felt emotional pain like it before. so, to cope, you can guess what i did. and indeed, this song helped me let it out. i can only imagine what's going to happen when i see ERRA live on march 13th.
