I had the distinct pleasure of watching Ernie work at ABC studios in Hollywood. What a ballbuster Ernie was. Hilarious! This is typical of his recording sessions. On top of that, he would be working on a crossword puzzle and he would put it down literally one second before they would roll tape. He was something else.

Ernie Anderson was a very creative and prodigiously gifted man. The language may be the expression of frustration on the part of a perfectionist. He wanted to do a good job. I doubt he ever expected his outtakes to be made available to the public, and were he alive today he might not be too happy about it. Swearing aside, he was human - and truly amazing. What a wondrous voice.

What a deity this talent was. I got to watch him work. The "outtakes" were standard procedure, not just with the talent (in most every production house), but this room (other people in there) he worked in. It's just the way you frustratingly work through copy like this.

He DID do the open for Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, and it is an awesome read. He sells the damn show better than anything. But they redubbed his intro for later reruns. Probably a rights issue. Would love to hear Earnie ranting doing that Jayce intro. That would be prime profanity.

Ok, sorta because of both being currently owned by it's successors Cookie Jar, Media DHX and Coliseum, now known as Wildbrain , so yeah.... I'm quite shocked.
