I had the distinct pleasure of watching Ernie work at ABC studios in Hollywood. What a ballbuster Ernie was. Hilarious! This is typical of his recording sessions. On top of that, he would be working on a crossword puzzle and he would put it down literally one second before they would roll tape. He was something else.

This just ruined my childhood in the best possible way. LMAO!!! Oh man, I laughed so hard I almost choked to death. "I told you you'd hate me if I got sober." Mr. Anderson, I could never hate you. And after listening to this, I adore you and miss you more than ever. RIP.

Ernie Anderson was a very creative and prodigiously gifted man. The language may be the expression of frustration on the part of a perfectionist. He wanted to do a good job. I doubt he ever expected his outtakes to be made available to the public, and were he alive today he might not be too happy about it. Swearing aside, he was human - and truly amazing. What a wondrous voice.

What a deity this talent was. I got to watch him work. The "outtakes" were standard procedure, not just with the talent (in most every production house), but this room (other people in there) he worked in. It's just the way you frustratingly work through copy like this.

So this explains a lot about Paul Thomas Anderson's filmography. Essentially played by Jason Robards in Magnolia. Pretty much dead on like him. Also a guy with a smooth, charismatic persona who was actually a little cruel beneath the surface. Not unlike Daniel Plainview? Minus, you know, the homicidal traits? Also this sounds suspiciously like a guy who is hungover. Apparently he was a big drinker. Just like Daniel Plainview. Just like Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman in The Master...... Also Gary in Licorice Pizza is an actor who reads promos.
