Have you guys noticed that actors for Spongebob look a lot like the characters?

His death was caused by evil! EVIIIL!

Man, what a guy. You can hear the charisma in his voice, and you can just tell he was so full of life, I bet until the very end.

"Listen up, you villains. I wanna eat my meatloaf. If you don't get out of here, then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife!"

This is a guy who starred in dozens of movies and had an amazing career for 60 years, and is remembered for voicing a man who ran around in his colored undies. And he had a sense of humor about it. Awesome guy. RIP.

This man is my childhood hero! Was heart broken when I heard he'd passed. I will never forget how much it hurt to laugh the first time I heard him shout "EEVIIL!" on Spongebob. Definitely going to have to find some of his movies!

Ernest Borgnine was definitely one of the coolest men to ever live, and definitely one of the most talented actors to ever grace the screen. Hollywood is a much different place without this man, may he rest in peace.

Wow, this was seriously the voice of my childhood. They should look into having a special episode dedicated to Mermaid Man, like the ones where they have Patchy the Pirate and Potty the Parrot. They haven't done that in forever! Rest in Paradise!

Aw, I didn't watch Spongebob growing up but I've been fooled so many time by voice actors that I would never guess the person that voiced Mermaid Man was the late 80s/early 90s Ernest Borgnine. So adorable. Rest well.
