    Your absolutely right. His presences is terrifying and teams focus more on marking him so every pass can’t go to him and pep knows they will try and lock haaland down so he uses another tactic that don’t require haaland as much and while the teams are focused on haaland there’s Bernardo and grealish and KDB just waiting to score as well.

    Agreed, except that actually, everyone has an ego...the key is whether it is a healthy, secure one...that coexists with humility. The unhealthy ego, that of an egotistical person...well, there actually aren't a lot of those folks that are members of successful teams, because they don't do well sharing the ball.     Hes so exceptionally grounded, it's rare to find people with his mindset even outside of athletes. Add on all the fame, worth, and accomplishments and its remarkable how nice of a guy he is. Paying attention to the kitchen staff, helping the groundskeepers clean up after practice, saying thank you to all the security and staff at events. Just such a cool guy.

    Couldn’t agree more and I’d add 1-more thing that makes him truly special to us City fans (presuming you are of course) he’s a lifelong City too so I’d imagine the outcome of every game means a little more relative to most of his teammates (Foden, Lewis and I think Palmer being exceptions).

    Just reflect a second. This dude just won a treble in his first year at the club that never did. He is the best scorer in PL history in his first year in England. His focus aside the obvious happiness and relief from pressure is ''how can I improve, I will be thinking differently when I am 25''. 22 years.

    It's scary how mature he is mentally. It's amazes me how he don't just say he can improve, but he knows the areas of his game that it need to be sharpened. He's humble and already it's the best striker in the world this year. The pressure he’s gotta carry, being City’s main man, and the star of the team. He’s done it after all.     I love this guy...so mature for his age, humble, witty, passionate. So glad he ended up in a good football "home", this City organization, at this early stage of his career. And he couldn't have chosen better teachers than Pep and his staff and teammates, to get the best out of him and to give him the life and sport skills he can carry with him into his future.

    Erling Haaland was Manchester City's good luck charm in the Champions League. And people need to remember he is still only 22 yrs old. Has not even entered his prime yet. Rodri is a legend. A Rolls Royce of a player. And it's so cool for Ederson to finally get his flowers. Of all the players to step up. It was City's keeper that gets overlooked & questioned. My MOTM for sure.
