@claylexander6171 After the first season, it was glaringly obvious that Erika and her husband were livingly significantly above their means. She lived more extravagantly than LVP and/or Kyle. As a middle-class person, if I recognized this every housewife on that show knew it as well. That even a single cast member didn't have questions about their extravagantly lifestyle, I find it very difficilt to believe. During her 20 years of marriage a significant amount of the victims' monies were spent on Erika, her hobbies (glam squad), and frivolous spending. I would have given every piece of jewelry I had ever received from Tom and anything else of value voluntarily. Erika met Tom when she was 27 and employed. Erika stating that she had never gone in a bank or used an ATM card when she married Tom incredulous.

Maybe she is really clueless when it comes to earned income but you can’t be a strong woman while being completely ignorant about where the money is coming from. I love Erika. She's been my fave from the jump. She is so self-aware, honest, and strong. What a lovely, adult, good-friend piece of advice she gives all of us. She was torn apart and has risen like a platinum blonde phoenix. She has grown as a person and I feel like Erika is so mature, and while [re]building herself, she became more open, warm, and relatable....all while being the larger than life Erika Jayne. 💕 She is human. Everyone is doing their best. What more can we ask of someone.

Her ex husband and his partners shady law firm really has nothing to do with her.
