I've been saying this for years since Feliini days and Martial... they are still living in the past pre fergie days.. that Era ended.... they are basically the new AC Milan.. You’re very quick to point the finger at how poor Chelsea’s new owners have been and pochettino almost all the time gets a pass. it's Pochettino's first season in charge of Chelsea, not that he's a great manager either but just saying. Objectively, judging by results and they way United has been playing Ten Hag is a mediocre manager at best. If you think he needs more time that's your opinion based on your feelings. Some of us think he's just a bad manager. The signing of Antony alone should be enough to judge him by. He managed him at Ajax before so there is no excuse for spending that kind of money for such a player. Maybe he just wanted to make his friends at Ajax some easy money since United is such a cash cow.

Trashing your players when youre about to get fired is actually what all managers do. Mourinho did it. Ragnick did it. They try and avoid the blame and push it all on the players. It does nothing but create further toxicity. His optimism with the media is there in order to keep some sort of positivity. He needs that in the dressing room if they have any chance of winning the final. The reality is that half the players need to go. Its not ETH. 80% of the team are players from other managers. Most have gotten previous highly successful managers fired. New management will help him get rid of some of the toxic players in the offseason that have been needing to go for years. Inconsistent players like Rashford are the worst. We will do better next season with ETH. Espn pundits are all haters… just spewing biased trash for views as usual. ManU in the final and in a derby.. anything can happen. LFG!!

Not seeing any real analysis. It's not about "having no leaders" or "team collapsing". There were gaps in the middle and behind the full backs, that every team has been exploiting. As a manager, your in game management has to be on point. At 3-0, why are Dalot and AWB bombing forward? Why is Mctominay running forward. Instead of lazy criticism: Oh Utd have no leaders. Why is our defensive shape so bad. On one of the goals, Dalot was in the CB position. On the disallowed goal in injury time, AWB was in the CB role. Maguire was running back from attacking. I’m not a huge fan of Ten Hag. Just rubs me the wrong way but I chalk that up to Dutch cultural differences. There’s way too much negativity towards him though. They’re not the club they need to be top to bottom so it doesn’t rest entirely with a manager in his second season. For a long time I said fire him (I’m pretty neutral, Canadian with Gloucester roots. Poor Gloucester AFC😢.) There’s no one acceptable that wants to replace him. Mourinho? He’d take it. Southgate? There would be protests. Tuchel? Potter? Are those better? At vaunted Man United? Give him one more go around I say. Dump as many players as possible and pick up any that care and understand the badge. Otherwise… maybe swap with West Ham for Moyes. 😅

Ten Hag has insulted the intelligence of every football fan who's not completely asleep at the switch. His tactics (or lack thereof) are a disgrace. He is essentially playing Ole football, with a much more talented team and he's done a poor job at nearly every level of the job. He didn't discover Kobe Mainoo. Mainoo has been talked about for years and his performance in preseason, along with the abysmal performances of Casemiro, Amrabat and the general lack of depth in the role is what forced Mainoo. Ten Hag is one of the worst talent scouts I've ever seen. He cannot handle the media. It's a joke. I would be in favor of firing him now and then bringing in Carrick as a caretaker manager and next year, to finish the housecleaning, then go for a top flight manager the year after, should United reach Champions League, which the the minimum required.
