Exactly
I'm not a classically trained musician so I'm not familiar with what it was intended to be played like, but this is my favorite I've ever heard. Far too often it's played too fast, and with limited dynamics. Thanks for the performance, you're great.
honestly my favorite song forever and has been since I was 15.. Now 26
thank you for letting us experience this masterpiece in high audio quality!

Hanzo oh! How was that romantic..
If you think about it, great music like this really is people from the past communicating with us.
how to explain this piece?, it's melancholic, but it doesn't forget, rather, it remembers. it's like a mother singing a lulluaby, it's like a sad wind florushing through the spring's sun, it's a reflection of tears in a blue river, a interaction of gentle swans while in the clouds, feels almost like an angel playing a harp while a couple hugs, when was the last time they saw each other? i can't help but picture beautiful scenarios.

Idk It's what you feel when you realise you can't have/be what/with you love but you know it's for everyone's good. Like Jack helping the girl at the end of Titanic. Or leaving a beautiful place you love for moving to New possibility.

This one is my favourite piano piece. It's a perfection but this makes me feel incomplete every time ❣️😭
Whenever I hear this song I picture a rain drop starting at the very top of a tree, slowly making it's way down each leaf to the bottom on each note the piano plays. I close my eyes and just listen to the masterpiece unfold. Maybe i'm just stupid, but it makes this piece so tranquil. This is what classic does, like no other genre. Unique, beautiful yet very effortless in the way it is played, guiding the mind into a non existent dimension where one can be content.

Beautiful composition, perfect performance. Thank you.
I am a pianist and I love the music of Erik Satie, for me it has an incalculable value, the tremendous simplicity of Gymnopedie and one of the most beautiful melodies, I love the "WELL TEMPERED KEY OF BACH" AND AT THE SAME TIME GYMNOPEDIE IS SUBLIME, A DELIGHT....Soy pianista y amo la música de Erik Satie para mí tiene un valor incalculable ,la tremenda sencillez de Gymnopédie y una de las melodías más hermosas, amo el "CLAVE BIEN TEMPERADO DE BACH " Y A LA VEZ GYMNOPÉDIE ES SUBLIME, UN DELEITE.
its so... peaceful

Luiza Oliveira No it’s really easy, the only tricky thing is the jumping with your left hand from left to right, but it becomes not so hard after some practice. The right hand is very easy, no difficult rythms and no chords whatsoever. You should really play this masterpiece, it’s beautiful!

I think it is sort of misleading to say that this piece is easy. When considering how hard a piece is to learn, you have to consider all elements of the piece. Are the notes and the rhythms straightforward to learn? Yes, they are! However, is it enough to say that playing the notes and rhythms is making music? I think that's a stretch. When you label a piece ofmusic as easy or hard, especially in this case, you fail to see all the challenging things of the piece and the things that you should work on. I would say this piece is medium-hard. The right hand does not have anything technical, however, the left hand has many leaps of an octave or more. Also, the left hand is very low in terms of range, so it can be hard to balance the volume of the left and right hands. Later on in the piece, the left hand harmonies have 4 notes rather than 3, which is a hard stretch for many. Also, just capturing the music and the feeling of the piece is tough as well. When someone does a great job of it like in this video, it really doesn't seem hard. The only reason I'm going into this tangent is because many times, people think slow and beautiful pieces like this are "easy." The difficulty is not on the piece of paper, but rather in the music you are creating...

A Living Potato Yeah, I know! His hands are actually made of butter and melt into the piano just a little more with each note!
I don’t know if it’s just me but it feels like your playing it just a little little bit to fast in some parts but overall the performance was amazing. This is probably one of my favourite classical pieces since it has this melancholic feel to it and makes me remember more simple times, when there weren’t that many things to worry about.
