Erik's strength is that he's instructor level in most grappling styles. Sambo, BJJ, Judo, or Wrestling so the cross knowledge makes him easily one of the most versitile ground instructors out there. Even Gene Lebell considers him one of the top ground instructors in the business today.
Erik is a wizard. If you don't own some of his instructional DVD's, you're not a grappler.
@JKT6 depends on where you are, its also called a can opener, be careful when you attempt it though, a common counter is an armbar and if you dont watch yourself its easy to get caught
