Ha....valiant effort! Clippers must go against the grain or direction of hair growth. So, use the #2 guard and go from bottom to top (as you did) and from front to back on top.

I didn't want his hair too short on top, hence top to bottom on top, as per the one minute barber ...

@@philipboucherat113 Ha...ok. Unfortunately, doing that often results in irregularities in length. But as long as you and he are satisfied, that's what matters. Best wishes.

Look so much better now, with short hair then before the haircut. Long hair is better on girls, then on boys.
