Hello Mr Graif! It is always great to see titled players to cheer for a risky gambits and you do it so passionately you remind me of Jonathan Schratz, who brought me to fun and crazy chess with his study on Nakhmanson gambit. I wish you the best, I hope to see your channel grow and I'm looking forward to new crazy gambits and novelties! :)

I'm watching this video way way later than it was uploaded, but it's actually a pretty well known move against traxler. I've come across this move from a daniel naroditsky video and I swear to god, it's so good if u have never faced it before

Busch-Gass gambit can be transposed to Stafford gambit.

    I like your videos, I'm wondering if you've looked at this gambit 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d4. It's easy to get because it's only 4 moves into the Italian and transposes often into complex scotch gambit lines. I's also only -0.2 with perfect play according to 48 depth lichess stockfish and I glanced at the database and it seems even strong players can fall for the traps (granted most games are blitz or bullet). If Nxd4 then Nxe5. Even most players 2200+ here miss the only correct move of Qe7, every other move gives white a winning position. Bxd4 seems like a good way to avoid complications but there is actually a bunch of traps here, for example: 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d4 Bxd4 5. Nxd4 Nxd4 6. Be3 Ne6 7. Bxe6 dxe6 8. Qh5 Qf6 9. Na3 Ne7 10. Nb5 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d4 Bxd4 5. Nxd4 Nxd4 6. Be3 Nc6 7. Qg4 Qf6 8. Nc3 d5 9. Qg3 dxc4 10. Nd5 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d4 Bxd4 5. Nxd4 Nxd4 6. Be3 Ne6 7. Bxe6 dxe6 8. Qh5 Qf6 9. Nc3 9... c6 (is apparently +3 despite no material advantage) Maybe this is a well known gambit but I haven't seen anyone talk about it on youtube, and it seems to work really well, at least according to the lichess database.

Thanks so much for the recommendation -- I'll look into this and maybe make a video! This channel's "gambitting repertoire" is already covered there with the very dangerous Von Popiel (d4 d5 e4 dxe4 Nc3 Nf6 Bg5) for white ( kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJd8l8xyaZiyedY.html ) but doesn't hurt to cover other lines!

the von pupil gambit looks very fun to play and hard to refute thanks for introducing it I will play it in the future for sure. the Busch gass also looks interesting but I feel like its very easy to get advantage in this line for white 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Bc5 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Nxe5. after Bc4 you can get a standard position with d6 so I might just do that in case they decline with Bc4. anyways thanks for these gambits I am sure they will be fun once I play them

Thanks! Ah but if that line is so good for white, then a 2000+ heavily Stockfish-prepared viewer should be able to beat me with it, right? Right? ;) kzread.info/dash/bejne/aqpqyNCxqJy3osY.html

aha yes I see that this guy,( even though he is much lower rated than you) prepared very well. but tbh he got very good positions and he could have maintain them if he was more tactically aware. but anyways this is defiantly worth a shot in fast time controls for sure (might even try it in a rapid game in my chess club) so I thank you once again these will be nice editions for my repertoire(rated 2200+ lichess blitz)

@@GambitMan The wheel is on the right, though. I'm talking about a part of the analysis board on lichess, which gives information about the current opening. It seems, that either your version of lichess is somehow different from mine or you have a browser extension of some sorts.

why shouldn't white respond the same way as to traxler and just capture f7 with the bishop instead? the black knight is no longer hanging with nxd4 and can return to f3 (which refutes all lines using q-h5) after moving the bishop back to c4 and then p-c3.

Ah but the black queen cannot move, because it is pinned along the e-file to the king on e8! I probably should have pointed that out haha :) I think I made one or two minor errors like this in the video though, but not here.
