Sondra ! How are you doing ? I will say this that Joe's website Forum is a very white site if you get my drift. A lot of those folks are across the pond and don't want to hear about this collaboration. I'm one of the few on his site who are really excited about the this whole thing. Son and I have known Eric since 2008 and have watched him grow through the years, as a musician and as a man in general. In fact I told him on one visit to Memphis that he would probably have an opportunity to play with Joe at some point if he kept his life in order. He has done that and so it has come to pass ........... take care girl

Are you concerned about the numbers? Think that’s a time of day thing. I was driving my grandchild to class while listening so I couldn’t live chat. Lots of folks at work now. Just start sharing it on multiple formats! Have you been able to see any concerts lately? I got to go to the Ryman for Joe’s concerts and we got KWS and Kirk Fletcher as special guests!

@@jobo-and-mo Oh no not concerned about numbers here this morning since it's just the first song. It will get around to others in due time. That is too cool that Kenny Wayne and Kirk showed up. We saw Eric again here in Birmingham not long ago but it was a poor turnout, a late notice thing so it just wasn't promoted very much. It was his same basic show of late but always really good and lots of energy. Nobody but nobody has more energy on stage than Eric. You would have thought there were 500 people in the audience, it was more like 100 to 150

@@porkbelly0713 Bought tickets to see Eric in Nashville at City Winery. There were hints Joe was coming but both Joe and I and my friend had complications so I gave tickets to lady that gives us shelter in Nashville. She spent over 2 hours in torrential rain and horrendous traffic to rescue us from the Garth Brooks stadium show catastrophe so I was happy to give them to her! She and her friend loved the show!

@@jobo-and-mo I heard a lot about that horrible weather, glad you were rescued. Only had that happen once to me and it was a miracle we got out because we were on stage under a tarp with 3 Dog Night playing on as the concert closer. A huge storm came on us and we all had poles up trying to keep that tarp from collapsing. If it had then probably all of us and some of Billy Preston's band would have been electrocuted .............. take care, you never know what you will get with some of these outdoor concerts

Joe’s solo and phrasing totally reminds me of Jan Hammer’s solo on Jeff Beck’s “Play With Me.” Particularly his placement of bends and ultra-accurate pocket. Bits of John McLaughlin sprinkled throughout as well.

Great song! Killer arrangement, writing, production and musicianship. Wow! Hat's off to Joe B for helping make this is what it is and promoting his fellow virtuosos. The point here is opposite - they are competing in the video but's it's NOT about competition it IS about elevating all those in the Arena and Joe is doing this with Eric, Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher and many others. Ok sorry but its impossible to say who's better... let's not get too into our feelings here. Obviously Joe is the more successful of the two. He's just helping out a much deserving friend get the recognition he deserves. Saying one is "better" than the other is literally just an opinion. Yall let go of that negative energy and just be positive for both these guys! We need music like this to be more available to the public without the help of huge major labels, and that's what this is! That way guys like Eric dont have to struggle so long to get what they deserve! And I absolutely love it! Keep em coming fellas ✌🖤🤘

There will be no winner! They are both guitar monsters. With a little preference for Eric, which is not aiming to perfection but plays beautifully and musically, jazzy sounding.
