I got to first see/hear EG live in Kansas city,mo a couple years ago. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for being by his side encouraging him and sharing him with the world.

Mr gales you are an inspiration to us all.... today is 13 years sober for me...Nov 5 2008 was the last day I had a drink...I was putting away a liter of stoli A DAY at 33 years old ...walked straight away cold turkey and never looked back....changed my life forever...10 times the man and father I ever was when I was drinking and drugs and working 3 jobs 80 hours a week...happy birthday man...I'm 47 years old and a guitar nerd who can't get enough of you...God bless you and your beautiful family 🙏❤️☮️🎸

I didn't know a whole lot about Eric Gales (genuinely my bad) I got to see the band in York two days ago and was absolutely blown away with everything, They were the tightest band I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen a lot of bands, up till now the tightest band I had seen was Michael Jackson's band (15 of the greatest musicians on the planet) Everyone on stage was truly remarkable, Of course Eric steals the show with his utter brilliance, and true warmth, Smoke Face mesmerizing pure theatre (incredibly good) and another highlight was LaDonna tucked away at the back and every so often coming out to wave at the audience with a huge smile on her face with exuberance and excitement you can't fake. I can't wait to see them all when they get to the Royal Albert Hall

Eric. Caught you on what was possibly your 1st appearance on national tv (forget the name of the morning show). Was 1000 years ago. I knew nothing about you. Actually, I don't even know why I watched. I am glad I did. You were an awkward teen (who wasn't) and you what came out of your guitar was not what I expected. I thought it was gonna be the typical mainstream R&B stuff on the radio at the time. OMG! AM I EVER GLAD THAT I DIDN'T CHANGE THE CHANNEL!!! What you have become as a musician is just S.I.C.K!!! I been playing guitar as long as you and I am NEVER not shocked when you play. I'd give a lung to have that type of talent! Good Lawd!!! I moved from the West Indies to Canada at 6.
