Extraordinary musicians gathered on the stage, and along with the guitarists, we should definitely mention the excellent keyboard player, John Hobbs. Respect!

Lot of respect for the Stones; giving a little back to their boyhood idols!

The Eagle tribute band is lucky to have Vince gill.

How can you not enjoy one of Eric's classics played by arguably some of the worlds best guitar players.

Sheryl Crow is the Star of Crossroads concert. Thank you Jesus for letting me her hear sing once again before I die. Sheryl Crow is definately no lay down Sally.. She struts her stuff in Nassaugh and Key West, Nashville is long gone and beyond.. Where is Eric Clapton now, in the Rock-in--Roll hall of fame...? Sheryl if ever expect to be inducted into Hall of Fame, you need to apologize to Eric Clapton. He gave you his life and you gave him only shit.

Hard to believe that stage had the strength to hold up all that talent without collapsing in on itself! This is a kick-ass version for sure!!

I love drummers who know their business - like this one. No overplaying. Just delivering whats necessary to present everything professionally. Great sound. Love this.

My son, 18 years old at the time, made me go and see Albert Lee so I could see a decent guitar player: of course he went as well!

Vince is often called the Country Clapton. I think they are both awesome. When musicians are obviously having fun we all win.

Look what we have here is Sharon Crow the most beautiful country singers in history out there! I just love her! Her beautiful blonde hair and a beautiful eyes and her beautiful voice she got a great voice!

The sheer delight on Sheryl’s face says it all.. This is what live music is all about. Fabulous!

Can you imagine having sheryl crow as a backup singer..... She is always and forever my favorite, even more beautiful now than ever.

I think the best part of these Crossroads Concerts is seeing all the respect they have for each other and how much fun they have doing each others songs. You can truly tell they are having a ton of fun.

Heads up. Lay Down Sally is a J.J. Cale song that Clapper covered on his 1977 Slowhand album. (I might be a year or two off.) Covering the song here is the remarkably-gifted Country guitarists Vince Gill and Albert Lee. Jeeze, theses cat scan pick!

Gill sang from his heart... Broken hearted.. He could barely sing... Its a Marvellous praise... Praise be to God

I keep playing this over and over.. a great “pick-me-up” listening and watching a superb bunch of talented people….Vince and Sheryl work so well together in harmony 🎶..👌

Earl Klugh is on that stage. Another legend.

Vince Gill, Albert Lee and James Burton who has buried the most famous of Country and Rock frontmen like Elvis,Ricky Nelson,Gram Parsons,John Denver...and a few more.Yet still alive and kicking in the World of Melody.

Is it just me or is this one of the best versions of this song? I have been coming back to this video for years.

I absolutely love it...more than the original! I love how he changed the tempo and rhythm. The guitar solos are terrific and Cheryl's vocals are superb!

Those of you who are whining about them messing up this song, remember this is a jam, not an extensively rehearsed performance. This is what musicians do for fun: take a song with a pretty simple chord structure and make stuff up together. There are at least half a dozen different guitar players on stage. They have not agreed in advance as to who is playing what part, and some of them are probably just making it up as they go along. A jam isn't supposed to be clean; it's supposed to be fun.

Proper talented musicians playing proper music performed in the correct way no auto tune or fake music behind them. Just pure talent that puts this nonsense in the chart ro shame they are having a blast enjoying each other's company everyone here has a guitar solo so many different styles and the guy on the acoustic is incredible they all are a joy to watch. Keep the festivals coming Eric

The guy on the camera did a few zooms on Sheryl's smile revealing we all fall for her. Damn she's beautiful 🤩🤩🤩

Vince seemed surprised by Cheryl Crow joining on stage but without missing a beat he laid it down like only the great Vince Gill can.

Music is universal and for me its a lot more playing the guitar saved me. When I was at,my lowest point God. And my old guitar pulled me thru,,, y'all take care now,,,,

And that's how five brilliant pros can play together on stage and stay out of each other's way while adding to the music. Outstanding!

Good to see Albert Lee on guitar... I remember him from the early 70's band, "Heads, Hands, & Feet", when he tried his rock 'n roll hand at a countrified British attempt at countyr twinged rock... His brother Alvin Lee headed up the legendary 1"0 Years After"...

James Burton plays all the rythm and licks between the solos. He's such a giant! On his age!

Great cover of a great song. Vince & Sheryl sound good together & I love that she smiles & snaps fingers getting into the fun of music. So many artists that have been in industry forget the love of the music that got them there. Sheryl& Vince, along with Eric Clapton always smile & enjoy the gift & appreciate the fans who made them stars! I wish every performer in any field remembered who & what made them stars.

It's the instrumentation and the voices working together, three chords can be so complex. These are professionals making it look easy.

When Albert kicks in its like hearing every hit country song of the 90s in one solo. Great guitarists.

I saw Albert in the early 70's at UF (aka Gators) ....... Ten Years After...look em up...classic. I want to Change the World, and a few others...lol/

Vince Gill. Nothing else can be said that hasn’t been said. The man is THE guitar god’s superior.

1st time I heard this I was in AF boot camp waiting for that ol' buzz cut. This song was on the barber's radio. Lol

For the people that don't know Eric and her had a thing at one time..I am not surprised she be there..But has an artist herself shes is great and this is a jam she needs to be on..

Carefully crafted solos, great vocals and a jamming rhythm. This is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, even better than the original record. A Clapton Solo as part of the Mo-Vince-Albert-Burton-Klugh combo and boom, we have a 'remastered' version of 'Lay Down Sally' on our hands. It can't get any better than this. Legendary showing by all.

Best version of Lay Down Sally is one of Eric in '78 Santa Monica, Civic Auditorium ... Actually almost sounds like Cheryl joins in there as well, though that's not the biggest strongpoint, it's the two guitar parts blending live and Eric's singing

No one but Eric Clapton has the weight to pull all these great musicians into his orbit and bring them all to us, for our pure enjoyment. Every one of them is a star in their own right. Vince Gill, Gary Clark Jr, Sheryl Crow, Doyle Bramhall Jr, B.B. King, Joe Walsh, the list goes on and on.

James Burton just knocks my socks off with those tasty little fills as well as his lead. His style is distinctly "James Burton"

Wonderful! Loved it! Beaitifully done & I love the way he gives each member some shine!

That's not the worst lineup of guitar players you're ever going to see!

Vince is one of the greatest guitarplayers I know. And I think his voice is quite similiar to Eric Clapton's from time to time.
