Interesting video. It doesn't matter what genre of music Eric and other musicians played, they all had respect for The Beatles.
Beautiful man
Eric is one of those musicians-people who can look totally different in every photo-vid I see of him. A True Enigma.
You gotta love Slowhand.
Clapton is still God.

…and so are you.
Eric Clapton must have changed his hairstyle 4 times a week back in the day , he literally can look like a totally different person 5 days a part , it’s crazy !

He was well known for that back then. We always wondered what he would look like whenever we saw him.

Interesting that we have five minutes of an interview with Eric and very little footage of the band on stage in 1967. Only Paris Pop from the 1:st of June. 😮
Great
I am curious as to why he said he didn’t think he would like the Pink Floyd much longer? It makes me think this video is in the fall/winter part of 67 when it was looking like, Syd was going to be gone soon or that the band was turn into some weird version of whatever Syd felt like doing that particular show?
😊❤
Listening to Disraeli Gears era Cream is like staring at a 1,000 gallon lava lamp while licking a toads back.
You can see Jimmy Page in Eric's eyes. What an intelligent guy.
Obviously has yet to hear The Hawks Crackers Band at this point but his appraisal of The Beatles is spot on because, despite their enormous global popularity (and attendant problems), they were completely on the front line of recording and songwriting Plus, althoiugh they weren't a blues band, per se, awareness of the US blues/soul is VERY much evident in their work and performances
The camera guy is on LSD 🥴

Think Clapton is on Acid as well to be honest
He looks freaking high.
At 4:19, the interviewer says, "They talk about psychedelic music, but never use ______." What word or words am I missing (might be "any feedback")? Thanks.

Camera man fixated on very closeup’s and panning. Would have been nice if he wasn’t practicing on how to use a camera.
Ginger Baker was such a handsome gentleman

that's not one you hear too often lol
Holy lack of preparation, Batman. Less than three minutes in and the interviewer has to ask for some time to think of another question.
He was so dead on about the English music being more focused on the sound. The high powered guitar amps of the day, Marshall, Hiwatt, and others, were English in origin.
Obligatory Hendrix Perm
You say you have a ton of Cream footage. Let's see it. Cream was criminally underserved as far as quality video back then. The biggest tragedy is the fact that the classic WOF version of "Crossroads" was filmed but any footage not used in Tony Palmer's "All My Loving" documentary was destroyed!
Hendrix had everyone shocked and reevaluating themselves in 67...Eric went to America to do Dissraley Gear album, while Jimi did Are u Experienced in England, when Eric came home it was all about Jimi.
i guess eric was already a millionaire but was thinking everyday about committing a suicide i heard him saying that in an interview
Buddy Guy and Hendrix were god. Hendrix was Buddy Guy on acid.
Why do people like this guy? Sort of a dolt...
