You and Myke need to collab on a Madvillainy review!!
Great review, B. It's important to do these so that the younger cats will know about the history of some of the greats

twelve kyle Really won't make a difference tbh even if a young kids see this video they still ain't going to appreciate this they won't understand it because they are too young but I feel what you saying

Young King It does, to some. I least I do. I know there's a lot of young dudes that don't care about listening to the classics but I think that's the most important thing to do.

twelve kyle it's really important. A couple months ago this album was "meh" to me but it grew on me A LOT. I started to appreciate the impact of this album and Eric B and Rakim.
"Turn up the bass, check out my melody, hand out a cigar I'm letting knowledge be born, and my name's the R..."
It's always interesting to hear you elaborate on your opinions on this solo channel. I feel like you don't get a lot of screen time on dehh(everyone on there is great. you're just the one i relate to the most. this isn't a complaint.). i appreciate everything you have to say whether i agree with it or not. Keep up the great work, guy.

Blyake Price these are the best compliments man, thanks. Wish more folks thought that way. At the end of the day it's all opinions and you can still be a fan even when you disagree. That's respect right there 👊🏾
This is the album that made me "get" hip hop. Mind you this was in the 2000s and the only reason I heard it was my mum got it for my dad on his birthday. Without this album I, personally, probably wouldn't be here watching your vids and stuff.
such a great breakdown as to why this is considered a classic album. i'm 23 and have listened to Paid In Full because i knew it was considered a classic but it's nice to hear the actual breakdown of what it did for the genre of hip hop, especially since that era was before i was born
Beezy, thank you for doing this series. It's great to have an analysis done on albums like this by someone who is such a genuine fan of what they are talking about. Any ideas when the next gaming video is coming out?

beezy430 Are you only going to do classic album reviews from the 80s and 90s?

Young King as of now yeah, people tend to forget about the classics from 20 to 30 years ago.

beezy430 Roc Marciano's just released an album should we expect a review of it?
I appreciate you showing respect to the God MC, we definitely need to recognize the Legends before they die
Really hopin' for Mobb Deep next month, but either way, I'm really happy about this series and how it's going so far. It's nice to hear you talk about some classic hip hop which you know a lot about and really appreciate. Great video!
I love that you do these. I hope Enta Da Stage wins for next month, nobody talks about it. The Infamous would be just as nice though.

idkman yeah that's what I wanna start doing. Talk about classics that don't folks don't mention or forget about. Everyone wants to talk about the popular classics Illmatic, Chronic etc.
Aye im 22 years old and I love this series. It's like having an older brother pass down this hip hop knowledge you can only get from the people who experienced it

Elmartos437 thank you for watching.
The Seven Minutes Of Madness Coldcut Remix of "Paid..." gets me hyped everytime.
I agree about HipHop today needing to embrace the Dj, I’m all for short concise albums. Follow you all the way from the uk bro and deadendhiphop keep it up.
Beezy430. I appreciate these classic reviews. Speaking of Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap. Maybe in the near future you might review "Long Live The Kane" and "Road To Riches".
Fantastic series Beezy and I love how you get us to vote for the next classic review! I'm hoping Redman gets a choice soon, particularly whut or dare iz a darkside just because they were so funky and unique with Redman's crazy style and the green eyed bandit's production.

Slacker I had Redman in there last month but folks didn't vote on him. I think he had the least amount of votes from what I remember.
dope shirt 👊🏿
dope review, it'd be sick if you did a review of dj shadow's endtroducing, i'd love to hear what you think of the production on that album
To show our appreciation for your support. Thank you DJ's.
This album and Criminal Minded are an absolute necessity to have in ur hip hop collection.
another good review, beezy. hoping enta da stage wins for next month, I'd really like to hear your thoughts on it since it's not talked about as much as other classics of its era.

Jay Pickett yeah I think I wanna aim towards the forgotten classics man. That's why i listed those 4 albums in the poll.
i'm not sure what was the theory behind this, but IIRC it was either that Marley Marl was the person who handled the production on this LP entirely, or he did some joints that Eric B took credit for. there's a video on Dubspot where he recreates the "Eric B is President" beat in Ableton, which funnily enough sounds a lot like what Marley did in the 80s, so I wouldn't be surprised if this would be true

Good review again. I may be wrong, but didn't Marley Mall produce the ehole album?

Corey Brown it was recorded at his home studio but Eric B always got the credit for producing. Unless a NYC cat that was there during the making of it says something different.
You should review below the heavens. That was a pretty good album.
Hey Beezy, was wondering if you were planning on making any more of these?

I don’t think so only because we’re doing classics on DEHH. Don’t want to overlap anything
I take 7 MCs put em in a line...
From what I've heard and read in interviews, Rakim himself and Marley Marl did most of the production. And I'm not sure but I think Rakim did the scratches on there too, Eric just fronted for the videos.
Is that a Skull Snaps sample in the opening beat?
Nas got me into Eric b and rakim
review dr. octagon
I know you got soul is my favorite
The problem I have with this album is some songs have only like 30-1 minute verses and 2-3 minutes of the beat I don't compare it to PAC,Nas,Big,NWA,Wu tang
the poll site is unavailable on my end
