Listening to the podcast, listeners feel a more personal connection to Mr. Carvey and Mr. Spade and we have heard many stories about Mr. Carvey's family. Eric is hilarious

Here in Kansas City on the same weekend that Tim Meadows came by, Eric Andre was also performing as was Mad TV's Aries Spears. What's interesting is that Eric performed the day after Bob Dylan in the same venue. October 1st and 2nd was Bob Dylan and October 3rd was Eric Andre at the Midland Theater in Kansas City. Meanwhile Tim Meadows was that same weekend at the Kansas City Comedy Club. Aries Spears was at a totally different club in North Kansas City.

First, yes for the first time in EVER, I freaking ween. Eric Andre is great, very underrated and a bright dude it seems like.

Great guest guys. Very funny and entertaining. I'm probably just farting in the wind here because why would you guys bother to actually read these comments. I'm sure you have better things to do. But I laughed a lot during this episode. Eric Andre is actually a very sweet person with a great twisted sense of humor.

They're very vain. They don't like seeing themselves on camera or showing themselves. They think they look old and scruffy. Dana thinks this especially. They don't want to have to comb their hair and shave. They want to just look like they fell out of bed, and they can't do that if they put themselves on video. That's my theory.

SNL should do a few specials in the off season. Bring back the late 80'-90's era cast for a show. I'm sure all of them would be down. Dedicate it to cast members no longer with us. Do a 70's era show. Early 2000s show. Mix and match. Show this new cast how it's done.

"Show this new cast how it's done", yeah let's upstage still developing cast members on what could be their only big break, because Eddie Murphy could really use the help. Either way the jist of what you want is already covered with Anniversary specials & returning cast member host.

@N313GrayFox look at this podcast and everyone on it. And all the others that do the same thing. They all talk about their time on snl more than they do anything new. You don't think they'd all be willing to show up to do a special? They show up for anniversaries. Or is Mike Myers, Kevin Nealon, Dana carvey, Tim meadows, etc all busy working on their new blockbuster movies coming out? The new cast sucks. I dont care what they end up doing. I would rather watch a show that's actually funny and entertaining than give untalented "comedians" a participation trophy. And an anniversary show is just a party where they talk about the good ol days when snl was funny. I'm talking about an actual show.

If you listen to this podcast, the solidarity they have just from once being in each other's shoes should be obvious: the immense stress and anxiety of putting on a weekly show, the fear of getting fired for not having a good season, not sure being where your career is going after the fact. Which is why is so incredibly silly to think these same people who talk about their glory days on SNL (and make podcast about it) would be so quick to throw new people under the bus and steal their glory days just because you feel petty.
