ErgoChair Core (MyoChair) Honest Review | Worth Your Money?

Thanks for your great review! I really liked that you compared the straight up posture and the armrests. I am a recent graduate and began working as a software engineer but I have been having a hard time setting up my home office. I have scoured hundreds of chairs with no success, as the combination of adjustments and posture I desire are never met.
I love the foot-rest idea! I've been looking for something similar for the floor but this might be the solution!
I have been working from home since the start of covid and have been using my gaming setup as my office setup. My chair did fine for a few hours a week of gaming but with full working days its been beat up and I've been looking into a solid office chair option. I have been seeing reviews of the Autonomous Ergo Core and Pro and I think they are a solid bang for your buck. It would be nice to get one for free! Great reviews of both by the way, good detail and useful comparisons.
Thanks for this review! I've been using one of our cheap dinner chairs that I hate to admit we bought from Amazon a while back. I have been wanting to buy a proper ergonomic chair but get stuck on the research and the anxiety of spending over $300 on a single chair that I might not even love! And there's two of us! My husband needs one too. He's been using an ice age old (lol) super basic office chair that I think is from Ikea. Hopefully soon we'll figure something out because we need to take better care of our bodies. And yes, the leg rest is the biggest selling point for me too on this chair! Thanks again and be well!
Thank you for a great review! I am a student from Ottawa and I have been studying on my bed (no setup) for 2 years now. The chair looks great and I need it for my back pain, but it is out of my budget even with working a summer job.
I'm confused I just watched a video of yours saying autonomous was shady and wouldn't recommend. Now you have a discount code for one recommending. Searching if a chair is good is the hardest problem known to man lol.
Currently using my kitchen table desk which is terrible for my back, especially when working for hours. Would love to upgrade to an ergonomic office chair!
My current chair is an office chair I bought from Costco from 1999. It is the comfiest chair I've had but the cushion is nowhere near as soft as it should be anymore and the squeaks and creaks it now makes wakes the whole house up lol. My 3 month old hates it and jolts awake every time I move. I've tried maintaining it with different lubricants but that only seems to last for several hours until the noise comes back. The tilt lock has been broken for years. It's served its purpose and I have been looking for something else to replace it with.
The Myo Chair with the headrest & foot rest used to be sub $300. I cant believe they are now selling it for $600! I understand there are supply chair issues, but to increase the price by 100% is kind of ridiculous! Glad I got my Myo Chair when I did!

Great Video sir! Thanks for reviewing the individual aspects of this product. It really helps when making decisions. My current setup is a normal non-wheel chair lol (terrible I know) So you can see my immediate need. I've been thinking about this chair for a while. I've seen a video for one of them before. I'd love to be entered into the giveaway! Fingers crossed
Thanks for the review. My current setup is a chair from the office we received part of the work from home program during the pandemic. Its not bad but not perfect. I was hesitating between that Ergo chair or something similar as I'm using my office as a gaming/work area and I'm spending a lot of time sitting. Not really interested in a Gaming racing chair type and no leather finish as I'm a father of 2 young kids so you know....
The sitting for hours on end cutaway was hilarious
Do you recommend it for long hour gaming?
you nailed it with the seat is not upright enough. the obtuse angle combined with the seat base, I feel like Im constantly sliding down out of the chair.
Do you have any personal recommendations on ergo chairs in a similar budget range? I tried Staples Hyken, but sitting long hours caused the lumbar support to pinch on my lower back so returning it. The kicker is that I've tried a Hyken and Ergo Core before and found the hyken to be more suitable to my build. Now, contemplating whether to get the Ergo Core

If you don't want to spend more then 150 on a chair, better not buy a chair at all. You'll buy complete trash that will last you a year and a half at best.
Currently using a cheap gaming chair and would love to upgrade to an ergonomic office chair!
Right now I just have a cheap office chair I bought from somewhere a few years ago. It's held up pretty good, but not very comfortable for extended periods of time. Currently searching for a replacement chair that is more comfortable.
currently using a old racing chair which i regret I suffer from lower back problems due too an injury a few years ago and been really interested in helping my back when working from :)
student here, and I'm using a cheap outdoor plastic chair from my neighbors. Would love to upgrade to an ergo chair, and would help solve my back pain!
My desk chair is a throw away chair my mom got from the office she works at. Haha the arms rest cushions are torn off and all the adjustments don't work but it's a chair.
Student from Toronto here, my back hurts daily and I can't seem to find a chair that is in my budget!
I can't seem to find sources to gage the differences between the Core and Pro version of the Ergochair, Does anyone have any input?

I'm using an ErgoChair 2 right now and it's fine. I wish the cushion was better. I wish I would have gone with the Kinn Chair, as weird as it looks.
the whites in your beard reminds me of guts from berzerk badass🥶
I'd have to sit in one to know for sure, but that's a fair review. Something that disqualifies a chair for me is a lack of adjustability. The inability to make the chair back perpendicular to the floor is an immediate disqualification. Also missing is seat cushion angle (again, relative to the floor), an adjustment I find very important. Sitting back slightly can be more comfortable, but it makes for poor ergonomics when seated at a computer for work purposes; your head will have to tilt forward to view the monitor, and this is really bad the neck and upper back / shoulders. This does not seem like a particularly ergonomic chair (lack of adjustability, back angle, and neck angle). It also does appear to be rather cheap, but at a more premium asking price. Many thanks for the review!
currently have a steelcase chair that's roughly 15-20 years old.
so I have a gamer chair that I have had since like 2018 and for a while it didn't really matter but over the last year I have not really been able to sit down for more of an hour without having to get up and adjust cause it just hurts to sit in for that long it was a mistake in buying a gamer chair i only bought it because it was popular and "cool" to get and didn't really understand that it could affect my health and stuff
Currently using a “racing chair” my parents bought it for me because I’m doing school full time on my computer now (thanks covid😕) and I can’t sit for more than an hour on that crap chair so I now just use a stool when I’m in class. Still hurts my back but not nearly as bad
The chair I have right now is some generic branded office chair. it becomes wonky when you spin around or try to recline back as the base and back rest is one piece, much like a breakdance ride in an amusment park, fallen off a couple of times thanks to that XD
Current chair is a normal desk chair, wich I borrowed from my parents until I have my own chair, because the chair that I had before was literally wooden with a little blanket. Would be huge if I win this. Good luck everybody!
I need a chair because I am moving into a new apartment for college next year! :D
My old chair broke so now I have to work sitting on my bed which isn’t that convenient, because I end up falling asleep!😂
My pc setup is an RTX2080 with a Ryzen 7 3800X, as an engineering student i have to use my pc a lot so it was worth the investment. Unluckly ive bought my bureau chair a long time ago and is now deteriorating fast so i am currently looking for a few chairs but i dont know which. Ive looked for DXR chairs, ergo chairs and secret labs but when i have the money for i want to buy one of these.

same,im saving up money for a chair and im gonna go with a secret lab chair this Autonomous company is too scammy(BTW the ergo chair pro is alway on "sale" dont pay more than 350$ for it)
my mom is begging me to get a new chair because it keeps squeaking but im broke so i cant afford to get a new one and since i got it from the good will the back tilt has been loose ever since.
I've thought about getting roller blade style wheels for my IKEA chair.

I would only get those ones if you are using your chair on hard floors. They are a nightmare on carpet and really awkward to move about on.
Is there a discount code? The link does not give any discount.

I need a chair because I have a bad back and I currently use a cheap plastic outdoor chair.
Purchase Date/Quantity: Jan. 18, 2021 / 2x ErgoChair Recline models Use Case: Adult-use (Average Build) Three days per week in a home office setting Currently Broken: Lower Backrest Raise and Lower adjustment arm Leg rest guide rails for the second time Resolution: I reached out to customer service via chat, and they are unwilling to replace any of the broken parts because it is out of the one-year warranty. They directed me to the replacement parts portion of the website. 1 Year Review and Final thoughts: It is a comfortable chair, but I would not recommend it for home office use, and it will not hold up to commercial use. It would be nice to see Autonomous stand behind their products, as I was pleased until the product started falling apart. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the purchase of the Ergochair Recline model. The chair is engineered poorly for the price, so if you are going to purchase one, plan on replacing parts.
sooo, when is the giveaway?

Correct, I got the Core chair from people still using the referral link (Store credits). The core is now out of my hands now and I will be giving away more as long as people still decide to buy through the link.
Would not recommend this chair at the current prices. My myochair armrest has a failure point at the inside corner which they won’t honor outside of warranty. I have had to have it replaced before as well. Kind of a shady company now considering the price point. I would much rather go with a Herman Miller now. Their warranty is absolute crap.

Yeah the prices went mental during Covid
It appears they have upped the price of the chair and changed the name to ErgoChair Recline. It is now a Whopping $599 CAD! If you decide to buy from Autonomous you can get up to $150 off if you use this link bit.ly/3i87EpU (Referral code "R-techil") I will be giving away any products I get from the kickback! Seriously though please stop using this link I have like a $1000 credit and they only let you use $200 at a time. So if you want a monitor arm or something let me know and I'll send it your way.

I think it's a critical issue with the chair. Looking back I don't think I emphasized it enough.
