EMOTION is changing up things for the 2.0. I do believe that you should still apply. If you have a strong motivation letter, good recommendations and academics/ work experience, I believe you still stand a good chance.

You’re welcome! Thank you for watching. Many of them require an International Passport to apply but personally, I think you can still try and be transparent about your passport situation.

Hi, regarding with the proof of residency I had the same problem so I wrote an e-mail to the program and they told me to do the same as you (letter from my father with the utility bill and public notary), now my question here is if I have to do the translation of the utility bill and notarized document or the letter in english explaining my residence is enogh

But I have a question please, I’m stuck in the English proficiency stage…I’m Nigerian but I don’t see any exceptions for Nigerians (as you’ve said) on the site. Hello! Thank you for watching. A few programs still require a proficiency test but a majority actually exclude us. Please read the information in the website. It would be stated clearly. To get more personal information, I suggest looking for students/ ex-students of the program on LinkedIn and ask them for information about the mobility track because it’s about selecting your area of specialty/ country to do your program in.

Can I use my tenancy agreement for the proof of residency?

Thank you so much! To upload it, to the best of my knowledge, you don’t need to. However, I advise that you still confirm on the website. But when you get the scholarship, depending on the country, you may need to legalize your documents with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

If they asked for one page, the only way to go is to give them one page. I don't remember the font I used and it's not crucial. You can try shifting the margin and spacing as well.@@ezekielgnwibo3022

I’d highly recommend making sure not to have any fraudulent/ wrong information because that can get one in big trouble- even with the Embassy that provides you with a visa (if you need one.)

If your program requires a ranking letter, then you should provide one. If not, it’s not necessary.

Hello! Your motivation letter should fit into what the program also requires so you can definitely talk about your first MSc as long as you can talk about how it fits into your story for the motivation letter.

I’m a bit confused as to the academic related documents I will need to provide seeing that I do not have the degree yet. But I will be done in December/January. For example, with my program, you can apply for the scholarship with your final transcript but when you get the scholarship and need to start the registration process, you must submit your degree certificate.

Would the transcript be send directly to them, Unilag doesn't give individuals their transcript?

In my experience, the student sends it to them, not the school. However, you’d have to confirm from your individual program.

So I used to live around Gbagada, the closest local government to me was the bariga local government, I requested for resident permit and I paid a fee, I think I got it the same day or I went back the following day. This was like 8 years ago tho, I don’t know if the process has changed.

Is it a most to apply for three programs? I honestly just want to apply for one

This is true. You may have to find another way around it like using 2 professors/ lecturers from school or a previous boss.

I’ve heard that some people have been able to bring family after some time, yes, but I don’t know the procedure. You can do a bit more research on this.
