4:04 According to the game lore, the reason why that big guy (His name is Chris Walker) ended up looking like that is because when he got experimented on in the asylum, he ended up pulling off the skin of his face, lips and nose in order to try to find a third eye that he could see with and to remove the original damage that the experiments were doing to his face. That alone would have been painful.

Outlast is just that brutal of a game. You’d think after the fingers get cut off then you’ll never see them after the cutscene but you do! It’s so close to your face when you peek out from corners for the entire game!

If anyone is yet to play Outlast, I would highly recommend playing it while livestreaming your gameplay to some friends, maybe using a webcam as well if you have one. That's how I did it and it was quite the experience for both me and my friends :D

Ahh, but Traeger was always cracked with the guilt of never becoming a surgeon like his family wanted him to. So when he was driven mad by the Morphogenic Engine (what a great bunch of words btw) he became a demented version of what he had longed to be.

@@PlayNiceFolks Yeah the morphogenic engine is litterally what caused this mess, All the patients turned into killer demons, a ghost that's roaming around and not letting anyone leave, a big guy that's very strong, and a doctor that's naked 😂

Just noticed how many times Miles falls from a great height. They didn’t even include the part at the end of the game where Miles falls several stories to the ground in the underground lab.

I just had an cortisone epidural yesterday for my protruding degenerative disc. After the procedure, My back felt better than it has been in years though. The needle was worth it. Great video Doc and Editors!

The big clown guy is Chris Walker. He used to be a security guard at the asylum before it went to the crapper. He got shot in the face by an investigation agent and was "signed up" for the Morphogenic Engine. Apparently the machine affected his pituitary gland and he gained massive weight and size.

Recently got super fixated and infatuated with the Outlast franchise and seeing my favorite Doctor react to it was super entertaining! I hope you do a part two, there’s a lot of more injuries and gore to examine with the games though it’s not by any means for the sensitive.

Outlast is an insane game, the injuries have you wondering how is this guy still fleeing for his life 😂.

Always happy to see ur game injuries reactions doc + the definitions what exactly happens in the body 🤩 looking forward for next videos 😀

When I was last deployed many of the black lower enlsited were playing the game. I came in behind them and just watched. Not only was that game scary, watching them all jump up and across the bay every time something happened was just as entertaining.

I'd definitely recommend covering outlast trials. Particularly around the missions where you are tasked to execute the targets (kill the snitch, pervert the futterman, etc.)

@@DoctorER max payne 3 for. Not just the gameplay kill cams but some of the deaths and injuries during cut scenes. They look pretty brutal and kind of realistic from a normie perspective. Classic game series 👌

4:00 Also one thing about Chris Walker, the big guy that threw Miles off the platform. I got reminded when you mentioned his teeth. Chris also pulled off his skin, starting from his lips through his nose, to his forehead. So you could see his teeth because he allowed it😆

Love how he's giving the characters advice as they're bleeding out 😄

I've played the Outlast games, and they are some of the most f*cked up games I have ever played. The original Outlast especially deserves mentioning on how messed up this game is. Sidenote; If you do decide to react to more Outlast videos, might I recommend the Eddie Gluskin scene of his trying to create the "perfect bride" by performing surgery on the male patients in an attempt to turn them into women. Those scenes are some of the most screwed up things you'll ever see. Speaking of the Whistleblower DLC, there's quiet a few scenes in that game mode where a number of messed events happen. This includes Waylon Park, that's the name of the protagonist in the Whistleblower modes, where he accidentally fell down an elevator shaft and one of his legs rams right through the roof of the elevator cart. A sharp piece of wood ended up piercing his leg and spends a good portion of the 3rd act walking with a limb. Later on in that same part, there's a point where Waylon is being chased by Eddie Gluskin and, in a desperate attempt to get away from him, jumps out of an opened window, from the 2nd story floor, and lands feet first (and barefoot) on a brick floor, worsening the injury he has on his leg. In fact, you can actually see a large lump protruding out of his injured leg. Honestly, it's a miracle that Waylon was able to stand, let alone walk with a limb after that fall. And then there's Blake Langermann. What doesn't happen to him? This poor bastard recieves so many injuries that I'm surprised that he survived the events of Outlast II. He slides right into a fence of barbed wire, gets crucified with rusted nails imbedded in his palms, fell down countless amounts of steep falls, and was nearly killed by three different factors of people. And all so he could rescue his wife from heretics, heathens and lepers. And that's not including the psychological damage he endured, as he was forced to relive a nightmare version of the Catholic school he attended, where he relived that final days before his childhood sweetheart Jessica's "suicide" (it's actually a murder done by Father Loutermilch after failing to sexually assaulting her, and he pushed her down a flight of stairs. He then made it look like a suicide by hanging her body and even threatened Blake if he told anyone what he saw.).

I’m not an ER doctor myself, but a few things worth noting about some of the major injuries in Outlast 1 and Outlast 2. In Outlast 1, the fingers being cut off actually can lead to severe blood loss and if not properly treated with a gauze or cauterize through fire… there is a possibility you can bleed out and die. In Outlast 2, the character gets crucified and nailed through the hands. Because of the nail piercing through the tissue, your hand wouldn’t be operable anymore, especially if damage was also done to the bone. While the character puts bandages around the hand… it doesn’t create an easy fix and especially through severe damage like that… treatment would need to be given immediately. Let me know if I got my facts incorrect!

Well, in Outlast 2, the protagonist (whose name is Blake) was slowly going insane. That bright light that flashes at certain points of the story is from a machine called the Morphogenic Engine and anyone who's exposed to the engine will slowly lose their mind (that's what happened to the patients in Outlast 1 and the three cults in Outlast 2). Blake might not be reacting to the pain normally because his mind is too broken to fully register it anymore. By the end of Outlast 2, Blake has completely lost his mind and in the epilogue of The Murkoff Account, Blake is found in a catatonic state.
