So today Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician from Experts React on Gamology will be watching and reacting to South Park funny moments and South Park best ever clips. Some of the South Park best moments from Medicinal Fried Chicken, Fun With Veal, Raising The Bar, Cherokee Hair Tampons, and Chickenpox. There was even a South Park pandemic special. If you want Dr. Jordan Wagner to continue making this doctor reaction series please give this video a like and leave a comment on which TV show or medical memes or just funny memes you'd like for him to review next.
South Park is the Emmy and Peabody-award winning animated series co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone about four boys living in one screwed-up Colorado mountain town. Between local and global tragedies, as well as parental and celebrity interference, Kyle, Stan, Cartman, and Kenny manage to have themselves a time.

    Never got that, by definition, if it's medicine, it has proven medical benefits. It being holistic is irrelevant. Now, the essential oil stuff, that's just nonsense. But as far as homemade pastes to treat burns or mild ailments, those work.

  • @passingrando6457

    @passingrando6457

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@brandondavis7777 Yes, but when people gripe about holistic medicine, they aren't talking about a homemade aloe poultice, or extracting aspirin from willow bark, clove oil for a sore throat, or peppermint oil for a headache. They're bitching about positive energy infused water, using vinegar to "treat" HIV, using Yoga, incense, and apples to "treat" cancer (dicks out for Steve Jobs). Faith healing, whether Abrahamic, Eastern "Medicine", or New Age woo-woo. And not to be _too_ pedantic, but just because common parliance calls it medicine, doesn't make it automatically so. That's backwards reasoning. People have called debt traps "subprime loans", or tax-free slush funds "international charities", or classes that are cheap to teach, but don't appreciably give most a usable degree or skillset "soft sciences". It's really easy to give something a deceptive label.

My doctor says "try these for a month, let me know how it works, if it doesn't work, we'll look at an alternative." @@mikitz It is. I have a friend who has a severe allergy to all animal products (meat, dairy, eggs) and is a forced vegan. Their body can't break down the specific proteins that is in meat. As a vegan myself, as advice for anyone interested in going vegan, make sure you do your research first! If you are on a heavy meat based diet your body is going to go through changes and not all of it may be positive. Listen to how you are feeling, make sure you are eating foods that have proteins in them, and consult with your doctor or a dietitian if you're finding it difficult to maintain a vegan lifestyle. That whole argument of natural medicine versus pharma is interesting. My doctor always suggests trying a natural route (diet, exercise, life choices, supplements from natural sources) prior to using pharma. If it comes to needing more than that, it will be okay. However, a family doctor will know you very personally, and most emergency room doctors will have to ask you as a patient to allow them to access your file - but they aren't going to have access to face-to-face conversation that occurs regularly. When you go to the ER, it's usually for at the moment trauma, not because you are going for a regular appointment. In a span of a few hours, you'll have to sum up everything you know while experiencing something greatly out of the ordinary. Kyle would need to see a kidney specialist, a surgeon, and a urologist, aside from his regular doctor. The emergency room doctor would take him in to initially test for major issues with the kidney, and not likely be needed in the investigation once the urologist/nephrologist has their own investigation which includes looking over the ER doctor's notes. Ahem. I have a daughter with an on-going kidney issue, this one is a very slow going, constant observation kind of thing.
