I remember picking up Midnight Machine Gun Rhymes And Alibis at Amoeba, as me and my boy John were pulling out the parking lot I unwrapped it and threw it in the cd player. After 3 songs and cruising around through the city, my boy flipped it and decided to go back to Amoeba, I said "Whatchoo doin?" He responded "I need to get my own copy, this shit is too dope"

One, if the the best hip combos ever! I've attended many shows and ill never forget Equipto rolled a burrito blunt one handed and fuckin riped the mic! Live performances were always on point, kinda dope watching 2 completely different walks of life unite and absolutely kill it! Still slappin this shit no lie.... I miss this time or era of bay area music especially hip hop and underground rap, quite possibly the best in my opinion.. Immortal classics solidified in history!

Growin up in tha Sco I was always blessed to see n hear plenty of local talent. Cougnut was always my favorite. Dre was right up there tho. Equipto brought so much more energy and dopeness to Nickatinas live shows. Back before Nicky started rappin over voicetracks. Seein them wit Quinn & Mac Dre was a highlight fo me PS Equipto a Frisco legend for mo than rap. FRISCO 5 baby boy. 415 Stand up!!
