It would be awesome. Travelling the country, possibly eating and sleeping like kings, free games. Be a wicked job

@@subiesnacks8446 they probably get so many girls on the road. More than players, cause players are more busy. My guess anyways XD

The fact that they're able to do this job with just three guys on the road is insane.

No, it isn't healthy at all from a physical standpoint, but mentally and emotionally, these guys are committed to their jobs and really enjoy what they do. If they didn't enjoy the work, they wouldn't last very long and would burn out extremely quickly. Given a choice between working late night shifts at the airport as baggage handlers vs being equipment guys for an NHL hockey team, these guys would choose the latter option, hands-down. I could never do their jobs full-time because I prefer to play hockey and also personally don't like constant traveling. These guys travel all the time and probably never get to play hockey themselves unless it's maybe during the off-season. They also don't see their families much during the season.

as someone that has worked in a corporation that ensures safety.. doesn't skate blade sharpening @0:34 require the user to wear safety googles?.. he is so freakn close... thats a freakn OSHA recordable waiting to happen.. If he was wearing glasses.. he'd have a case.. but he's not wearing anything at all..

Yes, but also no. Ive had blades sharpened before in front of me, when you know your equipment you know how things will react. You'll almost never see sparks come back towards you.

@@9eightFilms sorry. that is not an acceptable response.. know your equipment.. people should be wearing proper safety equipment when operating machinery.. freak accidents happen.. If the guy was doing this at home.. i'm sure we would care less.. But he's at a workplace.. Frankly.. at 2 different work places.. He's working for the canucks and also working at an arena that doesn't even belong to the canucks.. (away game)... No offense.. that doesn't fly...
