no need change the ink, you only buy a plastic card tray, and install a R290 or T60 driver ,it can print the card,. you must buy our inkjet PVC card ,then can print

ive tried to print onto pvc id card using pigment ink but the image bleeds all the time can you help thanks in advance

You have to download the drivers of Epson R260 and then install them in the same port as the L800 ( usb0001 port in most cases ) to be able to print IDcards. You can google "print ID cards with L800" there's plenty of tutorial how to install the driver
