I love the water feature by the door, it looks really nice in the corner so that's where I'd leave it. Tell Suzie if it stays sunny by the front door she might plant Purslane plants or Lantana, they are very hardy and love the sun. Kathy USA 🇺🇸

Bonjour Suzie and Rols, the roses look really nice in the gold. The ciel de lit is going to so pretty when it's finished. Suzie I am so happy the weather was nice so you could work in the flower bed. So, your pesky mole gets a reprieve, because of your love for the other little critters and of course the dogs. I love the door, the stonework around it is beautiful, and I really love the plum color and the gold detail on it. I think a different color for the door frame is an excellent idea it frames the door better. Well done today, rain free. Love from N.Y.

Hello again from WallaWalla, Washington! I'm very much looking forward to seeing how that beautiful bed crown and curtains turns out! Enjoying the process! The painting around the door turned out so nicely natural looking and I must say, that door is one of the most beautiful doors ever! I noticed a couple of lovely poppies when Suzi was weeding. Is it possible to transplant them to one of your flower gardens? So nice to see you again!

I am sorry to have to tell you, but moles leave little mountains of sifted soil above ground, and you may see some raised, grass covered trails above ground from them. The holes and trails you show are, I am 99.9% certain, rats, as is the burrying into and under the stone walls. I can see why you do not want to use bait, as poisoned corpses will be dangerous with your dogs and other wild life around, but you so need to deal with them or you will soon be overrun, so I honestly think you either need to get traps which kill them, or humane traps if you must, but if you use humane traps, then drive them at least 25 miles away to release, in an uninhabited area, ( no one else wants them in thier properties either) as they will find thier way back to you. The sticky traps are really horribly cruel so you wont want to use them, so I think the best thing you can do is get two ratting terriers, or find someone who has them, and wants to do some rat hunting. I know a house that had rats get through the stone walls, and into kitchen, and from there they made thier way through the walls, and into the upper floor bedrooms. This is a problem which will only get worse with time, so best dealt with in a realistic way, sooner rather than later.

  • @chateaucitadelleducavalier

Thank you Lynn, but they are definitely moles, and they do leave sifted soil, it's just that Baxter and Max dig it all up, they are good catchers, they already got one, they're obsessed with hunting for them ☺
