best series in the apprentice of all time. standard of candidates was exceptional. And it was very entertaining from start to finish

Some of them were very good like Roisin and Bianca but some of them were quite poor like Sanjay and Daniel were weak in my opinion. Sarah and Steven who were in earlier part of series were arguably the worst candidates in shows history.

Series 4. The episode where they were sent to Marrakesh to buy items. That was the funniest ever, especially when they bought a halal chicken instead of a kosher one

Agree totally. Mark is confident but as a human showed his ordinary self by letting nerves get the best. If anything, it proved he was less of a fake and more approachable, because he immediately owned up to the fact that it happened, and genuinely seemed upset by even letting himself down with it.

***** If that was fake, he must be the greatest actor I've ever seen. Was the huge amount of sweat coming from his body at the end fake as well? I've never known anyone to do that before. You'd think he'd make more money as a Hollywood actor with those incredible assets.

What a surprise and a delight to see Ricky Martin back who won the show in 2012 as one of the interviewers.

I have learnt a lot from the Apprentice show. I am not in the business but it is amazing how money are made. Lord Sugar's Books are interesting too

Brilliant television. series 10 got better as the episodes went on

Katie-- if I had £250k you would be my apprentice. You were the best in the process. Hard to see you go.

This was the best season by fat. Mark and Daniel's rivalry was too entertaining to watch.

(Meeting at an art museum) "Maybe we will make our own paintings and sell them!" Nope you're making pudding.

***** Except I feel it is fake. Like they call them and say you have 20 mins to get ready...What? Even if they are in a playboy aparment/house, it cant have more than 3 bathrooms, if even that. How are all those people meant to get ready in such a short amount of time? It's impossible, and I doubt they would start the day without one of the contestants. I'm sure we would have seen that by now.

@@cnsmooth I am glad you mentioned that because I am allergic to mornings, always have been. I told my boss and she said she had noticed I was quiet until the afternoon. Expresso coffee helped.

Ricky from two seasons ago is one of the interviewers next week! One of Sir Alan's "trusted advisors" now, apparently. Should be fun.

David Thomas Well, I think that puts him in an ideal position to pick out the BS from other people's CV's as he has done it himself. He did grow out of his BS over the course of the process, so I don't think it'll really be an issue.

I was so nervous when they pitched in front of Tesco, as I’ve shopped there for years when I lived in North Ireland. They were really nice and brought constructive feedback, opposed to the other ones.

Its been years (and its not in this episode) but I will never forgive Lord Sugar for not going with Bianca's natural coloured tights! Still want them hahaha.

This show makes me so excited!!! and I felt happy for Daniel being in a new team, cause I feel like he was bullied too much in the other team and it was UNFAIR. i like Daniel and i like Rosheen.. Rosheen should win! she is so organized and smart and sleek!

Woo Hoo! This weeks episode of The Apprentice UK. Thank you so much for the post. :)

SPOILERS- I really liked Katie, but why was she let into the process if Lord Sugar was just going to fire her as soon as he heard her plan. She essentially wasted her time for 10 weeks and didn't have a hope of winning. I thought he read the plans before hand, albeit briefly, but surely he read "restaurant" and he said in this episode that that's hopeless. I don't get it.

The main reason why Lord Sugar did not fire Katie until week 10 is because he wants to see Katie's cooking skills. But I agree with you. Katie is not intelligent.

I would've actually fired Mark instead of her on this task.

Soloman always acts like a deer caught in headlights and laughs at anything to ease the atmosphere. He got what was coming with Claude.

The problem I find with some of these tasks is they mostly focus on finding examples and ideas more in the high-street, City of London where everything is very flash, expensive and high standards. Now while the majority of City of London people may enjoy these kind of things...you also gotta remember the majority of people who don't live that lifestyle and are more conservative with products produced to them, especially food products. I understand some businesses believe it's only best to focus their ideas towards the people who live a relatively high lifestyle (fair enough, more money the better) but then again it can be a huge downfall since it's alienating what could be a much bigger number of the majority of people. If you wanna make a good food product that can sell, then it's gotta be something that both majorities can somewhat relate.

I honestly don't know why Lord Sugar didn't do this in week 5 or so already. He already had a feel for the candidates by then, so what's stopping him from just removing everybody except for the last 3 or 4 viable businesses a few weeks in? What about if Roisin, Solomon, Bianca and Daniel had no chance of a succesful business, but they survived just because they won?

Roisin, Bianca and Mark are my favourites.

It seems a bit flawed to fire people based on their business plan, otherwise why not just decide the winner based on plans from the beginning.

They have to demonstrate some amount of business acumen (hence all the episodes up till now) so Lord Sugar knows he can trust them with his money, then he judges which business plan he likes the most. It's not just about the business plan, he needs to know that they can make the business plan work.

Lord Sugar deliberately wanted to save Mark's ass so he didn't even bother asking the question of who's to blame for this task in the boardroom and went on to have them discuss their business plans so Mark's not getting fired.

Not so my friends, In fact I live in Ireland so similar weather. English summers may require a jacket, my point is, an overcoat and scarf is a bit of overkill. Especially when the camera sometimes pans past the waiting cab to reveal a full green leafed tree :)

Continuity reasons. The taxi shots are filmed first and they wear big coats and scarves to cover up the fact that they might be wearing a different suit or dress.

Sanjay is the one covering his back. He was a horrendous PM on task 9 and he was covering his back saying that he's been "decisive"

I don't understand how it's only episode 10, but they only have the interviews and the final task left?

I like saffron but good lord that stuff is worth more than gold and she dumped the whole lot in. What a fool she is.

This is just weird way of firing people, you give out task to win immunity and then if your group lose you fire people based on their final business plan. Mark has been the reason for losing the tasks twice now (one where he used lauren as a scapegoat and this one where he messed up the branding). Seriously at this point might as well give Mark the crown, even if he just sits in the tasks Lord Sugar seems infatuated with him (and his business plan).

AHA, this particular oolong is organic one from Jade Mountain, Taiwan!

Felipe was my favourite to win. He has gone now unfortunately. I think Mark is now my favourite to win. If Mark or Daniel get fired tomorrow, I would like to see the other's reaction. If they both get fired, it would be hilarious.

Mark looks really unwell - he was sweating loads in the boardroom! Hope he's OK!

I thought he was having a heart attack - that is some major anxiety that needs to be treated. After all that nobody asked him if he was okay where is the humanity in this show!! Throwing each other under the bus is the culture here.

Are we to conclude that the main reason why candidates who have underperformed are still here is because LS thinks they have good business plans?Katie has been the most consistent candidate this series. Isn't he just wasting these people's time if he's just going to eliminate people purely on the basis of "this isn't exactly the sort of business I'm looking for" this far into the process? Seems so silly. He should have picked candidates with business plans he's happy with from the start.

I've noticed that in EVERY show. I really don't like her. If you notice, Nick is always defending people who are being harangued by others. NOT Karen. I think she's mean, vindictive and a shit stirrer. And I'm so tired of seeing her disgusted expressions in every task. I really wish they'd replace her with someone with a personality.

Team Bombersports He does have his own business selling to the trade, so whilst he has a market trader heritage, he is more than just that. Besides, there's nothing wrong with being a market trader and it certainly doesn't make you a "wideboy" just for being one. There are certain qualities you gain from experience in that sector, being a "go getter" as Lord Sugar put it is one of them. If you like him or not, he goes at everything and wants to contribute whilst other people are busy playing clever games (Mark, for instance) and trying to point score.

Saffron is used for main courses not desserts if I had the choice between the cheesecake or trifle I would consume the cheesecake

We put saffron in everything. Milk, dessert, rice, main course etc. but if defo would have gone with the cheesecake not the trifle as well

He had no choice, Katie had to go, her business plan is to open an eatery in a niche market only healthy snacks. She has no idea of cost or how to apply ingredients. for example saffron, Lord Sugar also stated that not because he eats at mc donalds, her can run the infastructer. Rosin was so much better than Katie in this task.
