Episode 80. Army knife number one
Ғылым және технология
In this episode of Combat Approved, the viewers will see the most advanced bladed weapons of the Russian Armed Forces. Combat knives of combat divers, a firing knife, and the Elf survival kit for special forces. But the main hero of our episode will be the army knife from the Ratnik kit. In terms of reliability and combat properties, it is superior to all its previous analogs. To demonstrate it, we will tell and show the evolution of the knife for the last thousand years. But the most important thing is that we will conduct a unique experiment. In the field, with the help of a home-made furnace, using the technology of the 10th century, we will forge a real blade from scrap metal modeled after the Ratnik knife. We will conduct tough durability tests for it and the Ratnik knife, and then we will approve them in combat.

@Moshe Trevor I probably would be but I get myself into much trouble and I’m pretty sure I know what people think about me I study body language with a little bit of social engineering can do a lot these days I just got flashbacks of cracking bell Internet passwords those were the days
The voiceover guy sounds like he stood over the forge and huffed the fumes.
The bayonet derivative of the 6X9 that's known by the name 6X9-1 is hands down the best bayonet ever made for AK series rifles. What surprises me, even more, is the newly designed standalone wire cutter integrated into the scabbard. The knives and bayonets used by the Russian since the deployment of AKM rifles have always been very compact and easy to carry around. However, a common problem the 6H4, and 6H5 series bayonets had was that although they worked fine as a wire cutter to cut normal metal wires, due to their short length and lighter profile they could never provide enough leverage to cut down barbed wire fences. On the other hand, the M9 bayonet is no doubt big and bulky but it can easily cut barbed wire fences when used as a wire cutter. It's because its longer length and heavier blade profile provide it enough leverage to do so. Separating the wire cutter and designing it around the scabbard is indeed an extremely clever idea. Props to the Russian engineers who came up with the scabbard design for the 6X9. By doing so they managed to retain the compact and lightweight form factor of this knife, but at the same time, they provided the user an extremely capable wire cutting tool that can even cut barbed wire fences. The 6X9 is the best example to show that a survival knife doesn't need to be big and bulky to be effective.
If there's one good thing I've learned from this, it's that we must also learn from Russian experience. God bless.
Nearly impossible to get one of these awesome blades, so I have to stick with my Cold Steel Survivalist, Glock 78 & 81, Tops knives, etc...
In all seriousness, that is the scariest knife ive ever seen....i want one
The best military equipment documentary EVER! I feel sorry for the people that do not know about this... I mean every single Combat Approved emission... You just ROCK
Wow ... missed twice - the weakest point was not hit. It should be tested by independent persons and companies. Only facts - no myths! Why such bad & embarrassing publicity for a mediocre industrial product? Why not like the german forces for her "new" german army knife 2000: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2Wq2bN9YZOyeag.html btw: i like my russian products - simple and as a rule very durable!

@@wherethestreetshavenoname51 i agree it is not just the knife i can pass that knife isnt very important like other things in war . like russian rifles and tanks . russian have alot of smart people. but they are not honest . it is like the ak12 if that was the ak 107 with a bolt release that would be better than the m4 but not the ak 12 .it is like I dont need someone who work for kalashnikov to tell me this is the best rifle i mean ofcourse he is going to say that but i can see he is wrong . I understand that russian made alot of old weapons and they want to sell it or make a use of it but anyway ... . I hope they can be more honest because they have alot of smart and talented people So
Wow and really #shannnnnnnn👌👌👌
