most teams that get done like that which is equivalent to say if your Girl friend is not only cheating on you but making u watch during and then making u watch & listen to a celebration afterwards while shit talking me you. So that’s where we are in the hierarchy of effed up situations! MOST, DAMN NEAR ALL teams that get done like that hardly ever maybe NEVER have the strength skill & mental toughness to come back and not only redeem themselves but they ran the Heat off the court as if the Heat didn’t belong in the same league as the Spurs! That’s real! That’s what i live about my spurs since 1990. That’s when i was 8 & started picking my teams as a kind in middle Tennessee at the time. we had no pro sports so SA Spurs, Buffalo Bills & Atlanta Braves where my teams.

@chukwunonyeanyakoha8573 only the point 4 comes close. About to go up 3-2 on LA and maybe repeat the previous years title, Fisher hits a shot that changes the rules about what you can do with .4 seconds left, and what you can't do, like catch n shoot which is what he did....

I am a Heat fan and I will say that kids nowadays will never now how HARD it was to beat this San Antonio Spurs team. It took Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Ray Allen a 7-game series and by a hairline of margin to beat them in the 2013 Finals. The following year, they eviscerated us in 5 games. lol Kudos to this wonderful organization! That was one heck of a series. I can say for the majority of HeatNation that we almost wet our pants during the final moments of Game 6. That was a gut-wrenching, almost soul-crushing type of game because of the pressure. lol What a time to be alive! Salute #SpursNation!

My wife and I were on a cruise out of Florida on our honeymoon during this series, and watching game 6 live on the big screen and hearing all the Heat fans cheer at Ray Allen's shot was one of the most painful and emotional things I've ever experienced. I grew up in San Antonio and I felt the hurt for the whole Spurs organization AND city of San Antonio. They had that series! But so glad they wrecked the Heat the following year for redemption.

I’ll never forget it. I remember when we were up 5, I thought, “we’re gonna win, the Heat are too desperate now”. Then the missed free throws came, heart started to pound faster, then the Allen 3, swish, and the excitement was sucked out of me. When they lost in OT, I was in shock, like I saw a loved one get shot down in the street for no reason at all. It haunts me to this day, and I still believe the 2013 Spurs were better than the 2014 team, but that’s just my opinion. It was great to get them back the next year though.

These history reminds me that the spurs are always the good guys just like in the movies. Could'nt have a scripted a better turning point in nba finals history. 50 years of legacy, championships, fortune, misfortune, injuries that lead to 2 jackpots, 3 generational talents... I mean what are the odds that everything in the nba will go through San Antonio once again. Gotta be rigged for storytelling purposes. Another new chapter in a storied franchise. Many more championships to be played. Alot of the superstars will retire or get old soon in 6 years. And as soon as those faces say goodbye to the game, a new face will emerge. Hopefully 5 more championships in 17 years.. one can imagine. And in so life repeats itself again with a different cast of characters. The storyline nevers truly ends, it begins again.

One of the best little details from the 2014 run is that, at the beggining of the first round against Dallas, someone wrote a number in the corner of one of the whiteboards in the locker room. It only said "16". That number changed during that playoffs run. By the time they reached the Finals, that number was 4.

So cathartic. Somehow, "healing factor" activates upon seeing/reviewing this painful feature. Regardless how burdensome mentally and emotionally, see Episodes 45-46. Episode 47 shall be sweet, guaranteed. ________________________ (from "Champions Revealed") "...I am always been a believer that players react better to the truth than blowing smoke at him, or trying to manipulate him, or tell him 'something so little do this or that.' But if you tell him the truth, then you really go after it, that assumes one thing to the people whom telling the truth to have the kind of character like you guys have so you can deal with it. And not blame other people, or feel sorry for yourself, or get angry...but face it and then know 'What are the steps I gonna take now to take care what I'm looking at right there, and don't like, and what we can do better.'" -- Gregg Charles Popovich ________________________ P.S. The remaining sting that maybe lingering forever is for TMac. It would be a nice, fairy tale ending his sole time to advance from the 1st Round went all the way to the Title. Also interesting is there's no Pop perspective. Perhaps this is one thing he'd rather not to be reflective about.

Honestly, considering how the following season went, I wouldn't change a thing. However: After Allen's shot, the Spurs had no time-outs left. Miami couldn't call one since they were on defense. The thing for the Spurs to do is get the ball inbounded as fast as possible to prevent Miami from setting their defense. Well, the officials just so happened to decide in that very critical moment to stop play and review to see if Allen's foot was on the line. THAT pissed me off more than anything else. Miami had an incredible defense and the officials decided to help it out.

0:41 "It was the worst loss in my NBA career." No, it was the worst/most painful loss in NBA history. Can anyone name a more heartbreaking loss in the entire history of the league? No team has ever been that close to an NBA title without winning it.

Yes I can, the 1969 finals with the Lakers and Celtics, it was game 7 and it was in Los Angeles, the Lakers was so sure they were going to win the game, even before the game ended Champagne was already put in the Lakers locker room to celebrate, the game went all the way to the final seconds, the Lakers had a one point lead with seconds left and Boston had the ball out of bound, the ball was passed into Don Nelson near the top of the key he squared up and took the shot while the ball was bouncing around the rim the clock had expired and the ball fell through the hoop, a devastating loss, the Celtics immediately ran to their locker room celebrating, it hurt so bad you could see some Laker fans crying, and when they interviewed Jerry west the next day his eyes were blood shot red from crying.

19:20, if that was today, Bosh would’ve received a technical foul for a reckless close out.

Besides Manu. Kawhi also missed some free throws down the stretch on that game 6 2013 finals. Honestly after how we destroyed Miami in 2014. 2013 wasn't that bad.

As much as 14 rocked, I wouldve rather had 13.
