Akita's are very beautiful dogs and so are most dogs. Also I love how the little lady is just fast asleep being very majestic 🙂

Aye. Konsistent, motivated by love, dedicated, low fear response, and able to learn and not stuck in dogma. They are dogs, but they are different.

Great tip! I'll do that for all the next videos. In researching after the fact, there is a bigger difference between different breeds of Akita (Japanese vs others) than I realized. Male Akitas have a withers height between 26”-28” (66-71 cm) and a weight in the range of 100-130 lb (45.4-59 kg). Female Akitas have a withers height between 24”-26” (61-66 cm) and a weight in the range of 70-100 lb (31.8-45.4 kg). The Akita has an overall body length of roughly 36.5”-43.5” (93-110 cm), standing height of 31”-36.5” (79-93 cm). Japanese Akita's (what I references in the video) are smaller, weigh less, and live a little longer.

Akitas are clean freaks, compared to other dogs. They are still dogs. And love to roll around in poop and rotting flesh. And at least mine will try and hide anytime the shower is on.

Please dont remind me that Putin likes dogs. As someone with an Amkita, it offends me.

They are big big dogs especially American akitas, my sister has a male and he’s almost 50kg, almost 2 years old
