Black coffee, Tira, Dj Zinhle, Thebe, Maphorisa and many more learned from this gentle giant, the kindest thing about Oskido is that he encourages people working with him to start their own things, he empoweres them, he encourages them to invest in other avenues other than music and always advice them to look after their artists. Need to add that he is not jealous and does not flaunt his wealthy, and by the way the man is super wealthy and do a lot of good for the less fortunate but you won't see him posting it all over social media

Oskido "The Big O" Mdlongwa that's how he used to be called back in the days . Kalawa Jazzmee Records my favourite stable till date. In my youth years I have never missed any music concert by kalawa artists in Bisho and East London.. I can write a book when it comes to my love and support for KJR artists Mafikizolo being my number one favourite group they know I have never missed their shows even in Motsepe foundation music festival I used to go there because of them.. By the way I still have a picture I took with Oskido and the late doctor Mageu at Fort Hare University September 96.. December 97 and 98 Bisho stadium.. The whole crew yase Kalawa those years we were rocking and December 99 in sisa dukashe stadium in mdantsane it was lit in that year Oskido had a single named "Mama wam" with 2 guys named Shoes and Sfiso.. The likes of Skizo who had his dancers abo Belmont.. Eish Oskido reminded me all this I still love and respect them all.. Thanks MacG for bringing Oskido I salute you ❤️❤️.

It's nice to see this side of Oskido, really enjoyed listening and seeing the 360 he's done. I mean I grew up during the time he was a 'menace' 🤣all those incidents stayed in my head and that's how I've always seen him and the newspapers didn't help at all. But this was good, thank you MacG for giving him the opportunity to come to us, displaying this side of himself and dropping all these pearls of wisdom. Love everything he does, and it shows he has a good heart and he's extended himself in the music industry. It's phenomenal.

Same here, he has really grown! I remember him insulting Bra. Dosto Noge on Selimathunze when he came to the show drunk. He does invest his money though and many artists should make him a resource and seek advice.

This was a great interview. The best lesson I took from this interview is that you keep reinventing yourself. Oskido for a while understood that things change over time and that you have to constantly keep learning. Having a great attitude is also key in this.

A humble soul. A beacon of hope for all black South Africans that you can make it and still uplift those around you without always wanting to be ahead of them. Bumped into him at Daruma last year on valentine’s and he greeted us. Danko Oskido!🔥

I loved the inspiration coming form this interview 1. Be humble and eager to learn 2. Use what you learn to improve yourself. 3. Importance of giving back to those that you mentor. 4. Staying focused on your dreams, and not giving up. 5. Creating an environment that fosters productive communication regardless of difference in opinion. Thank You DJ Oskido, MacG and team.

It's quite refreshing to hear that our leaders call out these celebrities when their out of line, though the same cannot be said about them. The understanding that music is a universal language despite our political conflicts, rebellion and revolutions we are engaged in is really commendable. Great interview, Oskido has mentioned every big name.
