Nepali tradition and history will somehow be preserved by this podcast. Really appreciate the careful selection of guests in the podcast. 🙏
She is very well spoken and confident when she is talking about things. I also like how she is upfront and honest about things she doesn’t know. She just admits that she doesn’t know or she is unsure when asked about certain things. She doesn’t try to pretend that because she was once a Goddess she knows everything or doesn’t even care what people might think if she says she doesn’t know having been a Kumari once. Such a positive soul!! 💓 We need more honest people like these today.. 😊
She is so clam and pure I feel peace just by hearing her👏👏👏
I got goosebumps when she explained about royal massacre

Just found out about this episode & this is such an enlightening conversation. My afterthoughts: It was enlightening because I was listening to a real goddess speaking. Proud of our culture, tradition & history. Utmost respect to all the kumaris
"Mero chhai rune duty sakyo" That literally gave me goosebumps.

This podcast is so Amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Our Goddess, Our Kumari, Our Dakini, educated by Padmasambhava. Love and Respect to you.
Hi Sushant, what an awesome job you are doing. Love listening and viewing to your podcasts. Possible to get them with subtitles so that we can share with wider audience ? Just a humble suggestion.
9:10 As the story goes The King (Jayprakash Malla) used to play Tripasa with Goddess Taleju in secret. One day while playing, he had sensual desires towards her after which she disappeared never to be seen in her true form again. His only penance would be to build a temple in her name where she would reside as a virgin girl until she comes of age.

This is actually the best podcast that you have made ❤
Very nice interview. Her mother Mrs. Champa knows, shares lots of amazing, interesting incidents about her during kumari.
Beautiful presentation. Thank you. Both side.
Very informative being a newari🙏 Thank you for this🙏🙏🙏
Aweome podcast again, great content
As a guy from terai, This session was very informative. Such diverse community we have! Thanks for sharing.
This is my first time of your video and i love your podcast ,i watched the whole video of 52:04 . Thank you and goddess. Today i get a chance to learn about our kumari culture and its facts. Once again thank you sushant pradhan brother.
I’ve met her during her reign. She is such a sweet girl then and now💕
Such an interesting podcast I’ve ever gone through ❤️
Keep rocking and wondering us with such kinds of unknown personalities.
Wow what an interview 👏, thank u both n I learned a lot about Kumari. She sounds very intelligent and intellectual.
Thank you so much brother. It was so good .
I really feel blessed to hear about Kumari goddess. But also I would love to hear about parents voice their side of things how they Handel ? how’s there journey etc . Thank you 😊
Amazing episode ❤️
such an informative podcast. I hope this puts positive light on those people banging in the name of child rights, spreading bad messages against Kumari tradition. Infact the experience is something a Kumari girl adorns her whole life. Its such an honour to be Kumari!!! Thank you Sushant pradhan and Chanira Bajracharya. this was so insightful!!!
This podcast needs English subtitles. TOO much misinformation about this tradition is spread by foreign media.
Sushant Pradhan you are doing great job buddy
I think the whole experience of her being ex goddess and how she got adapted to this modern environment and the way she express that is amazingly beautiful. We can't even adapt when the season is changing and she has to get adapted to a whole new life. It's overwhelming and she explained that experience so beautifully.. And the way of showing our culture in this podcast is like preserving our culture. So many people don't knw about kumari. I think this video may help to give knowledge to them who are unknown. And one day I would like to visit kumari and worship her.
The way she explained I find it very clam and informative.. this episode of podcasts is really interesting..
Loved dis episode 💓
Such a well spoken lady
Thanks for the podcast. It was amazing to listen to living goddess. The only thing missing was the financial side. Pay, perks and donations etc. At one point she mentioned pension once retired. I know finance is a delicate matter. But thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of info.

Love this one!!! One of the best one out there. But I think the questions were a little too repetitive. Otherwise, unique and enjoyable.
Very knowledgeable content..
Thank you for the video God bless your podcast 🇳🇵🇳🇵🙏

Bro please Preeti shakya lae pane bolaunu na show ma she's also a former Kumari from Kathmandu. I think her story might be more interesting nd different than patan ko Kumari.... anyway great podcast show ❤️
thankyou for this
awesome content
I remember living in gabahal when i was kid so I remember her , she use to live just across a street . As Kids I and my friend use to play around we saw her sitting at window sometimes but we never talk or became friends just a smile thats all she is beautiful and was so cute whn she ws kid
I think the podcast was really short … Could have asked more questions also , about her aunt who was former kumari as well and who has been living as kumari till today …
Such a pure soul.. Good luck for your future..
I am not sure how many of you guys know that there is one more Kumari in Lalitpur, Bungamati. Bungamati is also a home of Red Machendranath ( Ratho Machendranath ). There was a big Ratho Machendranath Temple which was destroyed by earthquake and still could not able to build it.
If i need new learn more about Nepal always search the Sushant Pradhan podcast !❤❤
My question is why didnt they stop the chariot immediately when Kumari predicted something bad and why didn’t they took extra precautions about the king's family when the Kumari started crying continuously?? It was such a great episode, so good to know all about The Kumari Goddesse! Jay Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵

Who would know if Royal family would die that night just cause she cried? Anything could have happened. But yeah about Chariot they could’ve stopped or could have though about it.
Sushant bhai, is very nice and wonderful and it is very surprising the fluency in Nepali of former goddess kumari. Please come with young and different subjects.
There is a common perception that the role of being a Kumari deprives young girls of their rights as children. However, what people fail to consider is the fact that the entire country, government, and even the girl's own parents worship her as a divine figure. While in the past, there were certain aspects like education and socialization that were lacking, these have improved significantly over time. From my perspective, I believe that being a Kumari is a privilege for girls, as they are treated with reverence and regarded as living goddesses, unlike an ordinary girl.
You look so calm 🙂 like a goddess 🌹

Don't know how, why Coz when I went to the channel (I don't remember reason as well 😅) and this video was just uploaded 6 min ago with 12 viewers and I start to listen to this and I don't know how the time went by. So much Intersting, knowledgable thing One could just listen to it. Hope sushant bro will not try to eat mic as sanjay bro in sanjay bro's podcast in future. They should not forget they are host of the channel so they can be in every video they doesn't have to shout on mic. Like in every video guess will stay in 15-20 inch distance and host always tried to chew the mic and I go like WHYYYYY. Listening to the story by Chanira was so good I was in full imagination, feeling so good and then suddenly host start to shout in earsss commonnnnn. PLEASE STOP THAT
We need English subtitles too please🙏🙏🙏 I want to share this with my. Some foreigner friends... Please please

Please add the subtitles. I really want to know about the tradition but I don't understand Nepali language. There must be more viewers like me who are not from Nepal, we are not able to understand Nepali.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed this. I couldn't understand a damned word she said. Five minutes in I had to shut it off. Too bad because I am fascinated with most of this tradition. I just think killing an innocent animal is barbaric.
