the bare minimum salary stated by the government which is 17k range, is actually not even followed by so many organizations. I know places where the total salary is only 14k!!! and the workers there do not complain anywhere because simply, they don't know better or they're afraid they might even lose that job. This is soo deeply frustrating.

I know a friend who's being exploited with only 4k/month as he's "just starting". It's good that he landed a part-time job without any interns due to connections but that just seems like abuse.

Nepal needs a huge change in system. This will not be achieved within one day or night but it needs a gradual change and awareness. Lets stand for change and improvement !!

I'm an average 22 year old guy who quit my college and Bachelors to pursue my career in IT sector. I make anywhere between 110K - 130K a month stably with minimum of Rs. 100k month. But still, its really not enough surviving alone by myself in a place like Kathmandu. When your income increases, the standard of living and your expenses also equally increases. The food you eat, your travel expense, the clothes you wear, and the gadgets, they all have a correlation with your income. So I would like to tell my fellow mates that do not worry about increasing your income too much. Because at the end of the day, its not an Income Problem, its an Expense Problem. No matter how much you produce, if your consumption as a consumer is high, it will always never be enough. Focus on reducing consumption and not try to keep up with the Joneses.

Salary is no enough for living expenses . Now just imagine for those people who are unemployed like me should we die ? I am single son ,It's almost 2 years I have been unemployed after leaving a company which was paying less than 15k . And current job situation is not favorable for male most of the job I see are for female or you should have bike/license. Currently studying in BBS 3rd year . Mero auta story xa like 1 ota company ma at the beginning of internship I was good then other interns . Office of sir la mero skills excels haru aarko intern lai pani sikao bhani suggestion denu bhayo and so it did . And after 15 -20 days Me and few were fired and that one was selected jas lai mila sikayako theya ,after few days I got to know tyo intern one of the office of staff ko brother raha xa . Yesto hunxa Nepal ma and I don't know what to expect from Nepal . Sad but we are doomed 😔
