Yeah the history we know. It's a sad one. But it's such a fractured one we have here in the cape. Most times I envy the black cultural tribes in the country. I lived in Pretoria for 6yrs and I felt so at home there. I experienced black people proud of who they are. My forefathers... 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Who know where they actually come from. One just seems disconnected much.

@꧁Sindano Negongo꧂ I said “easily”. It’s not about the population numbers; it’s about rap’s calling. This kind of debate is for Hip Hop heads and those who have heard Youngsta’s entire discography. We are all entitled to our own opinion and for me he is it.

We need a part 2 honestly.. I've always known Youngsta was a conscious guy but there has never been a platform before where i'd watch to him speak besides on radio/TV interviews that normally lasts for 10 minutes and the topics are mostly about music. Watching this episode literally gave me goosebumps throughout. I really would like to hear him speak more on other stuff that he would've loved to share but couldn't on this episode. Mac, if ever there is another opportunity in the near future to shoot with him, please do it 🙏🏿

I really enjoyed this episode man, this guys is one of my favorites in SA. I have been living in cape town for 3 years , and every single day i wish i can just meet him on the streets or even at Waterfront, but like he said my time will come and i will meet him. Shout out to Youngsta for representing the coloured/black community through his raps, i like the fact that he even did research about this things. I wish him well and God must bless his career to go big mainly because of the shit he speaks about. The world needs to know him and learn about out history through his raps. And Thank you Mag and the team from bringing him to us. My favourite song/rap/freestyle of him was when he was speaking about a girl on a show(i dont know the name), it was like a poem, it has something like "i need a wifeee, i need a wifeee", the best man.

True but it's not all places. Just like Gauteng has its "no go zone areas", so does Cape Town. Places he mentioned are quite hectic, I won't lie but there are quite alot that are safe like Parklands, Sea point, Green Point, Blouberg etc.

Been dodging all MacG's podcasts and I would just scan there and there but I got to admit this was my first ever podcast that I've watched from the beginning till the end without skipping any second of it and I gotta say this is the best episode ever.🔥🔥🔥🔥
