That Norwegian sweater is scrumptious, but the Orenburg shawl is to die for. I took a class from Galina years ago at Stitches !Midwest in Chicago. She was a real sweetheart.

I have one or four edge sections done and I'm a little scared at how HUGE this thing is going to be.... perhaps I should have thought about using the right weight of yarn.

Really enjoyed this episode. I lived in Norway when I was 7, so was really getting into your discussion, and then you had to go an mention lutefisk!

I admit, I never actually tried it! I was too chicken and my spouse doesn't like fish to start with.

Great podcast! You have so much information. Your food shots look yummy! My goal one day is to be able to knit that sweater. It will sit in my library for a while.

It really wasn't intense at all. I've seen your knitting, you managed to get thru that Telluric cardigan, you will have no problem with this one!

Thanks for your videos. Someone may already have told you, but the Marius patterna was designed in the 50s by a Norwegian woman called Unn Soiland. But you got the connection to Marius Eriksen right. Unn Soiland was a fascinating woman, constantly knitting, even when driving her car, the legend goes.

Thanks for the info! I try to be careful and research everything I talk about and I'm always scared I will get something wrong. I look forward to learning more about Unn Soiland.
