All of these are beautiful. I guess it comes down to what moves you the most. Knowing what yarn you really want to knit with, usually tells you what you want to knit. I love your podcasts and look forward to watching them.

I'm so glad you like them! Patterns are so personal, but I love it when people share their favorites!

My absolute favorite is Stephan West. Not a small designer by any means but not a big company.

Look who finally figured out how to use her camera! Same camera as the last few weeks but what a difference.

Thank you for showing us these beautiful knits. I'm a bit of an Instagram addict. Some of the lesser known designers I like to follow are Gingy Knits, Vibrant Viking (her designs are STUNNING!), Chasing Rabbits (she's having a moment with all her assigned pooling shawls), Dole Valley Girl and Iroc Knits (Cori Eichelberger, who has a KZread show). Ambah Obrien is very well known and I love her shawls.

Oh, you really do know all the designers! I'm glad I asked. I really like how Vibrant Viking mixes knit and crochet together. I feel like there's a missed opportunity to blend these two crafts together.

I love your choices! Especially that Holland wrap! Gorgeous. We’re moving into Spring/summer down herein NZ so I’m currently looking around for tees and the like.

Summer time knitting! Lately I've just been taking my favorite colorwork sweater patterns and leaving the sleeves off. Knit a size with less positive ease since you where shirts more snuggly fit then sweaters. If you're on Ravelery here is a link to some of my favorite tee shirt patterns. www.ravelry.com/people/HaxtonKnits/favorites?tag_name=tee&bundles=1&organize=

Hi Deanna, I came here on recommendation of Nicky from the Knitting with Cat Hair podcast. I enjoyed the episode and loved many of your choices especially the first one you showed. I can see myself casting on that shawl. How does one become a Master Knitter? I have never heard that designation before.

The Master Knitter Program runs through the Knitting Guild Association (TKGA.org) I talk about it way back in Episode 3 (be warned, that was the very early days of my youtube career and things are a little rough).

How hard is your pattern to knit please.

I would call it an intermediate pattern, or adventurous beginner. There is very little shaping to it, so really the tricky part is reading a chart for slip stitches. This is a little different from other knitting charts but there's a link in the pattern on knitty. com to a tutorial. The pattern is free so you could always test it out with some yarn you have on hand.
