There is something about DJ Fresh, i am not sure if many understands how big of a deal this human being is, his conversations are different, the man paid people from his own pocket but not benefiting anything from that. I have been praying for this interview, i still can't believe it has happened. Man i could say a lot, but Thato Sikwane, you are a legend, i can't think of anyone that is bigger than you in my own understanding of things, i miss seeing you drive through Francistown to Bokalaka on festive season. We love you DJ Fresh and that will forever be the case.

It's really difficult to hate DJ Fresh,He is having that thingy. I pray to God that all these allegations are not true. I love him but I hope he doesn't hide behind his charm to abuse women. Gawd I love him,pls tell me he is innocent so that I wouldn't have any doubts.He is so handsome ,glowing,charming,intelligent,talented etc etc so why would he force himself to women unless if he is demon possessed.Fresh if it's false, I will give you my warm hug,you are loved 😍.

Two professionals at work here. MacG kept coming with the most uncomfortable questions without fear or favour, and Fresh remained cool under pressure and answered precisely. This is why this will forever be the number one interview for me. These two should open a broadcasting school

i'll confess this now too - I stopped listening to Metro FM when Dj Fresh left, and I stopped listening to 947 when he left as well. Needless to say, I don't listen to the radio anymore. Thank goodness for the Podcast. this was a really beautiful interview of truths and learnings. I wish you all the best with the court proceedings Fresh - may the real truth be revealed at the end of it all.

Has anyone ever noticed that whenever any Celebrity or anyone mentions how big Mac G is he quickly brushes it off and moves on to other things? If he is a good father, pays his bills, takes care of his family, his pretty much mature to me, I don’t care how controversial he is, their banter is what makes us laugh, yes there are inappropriate comments here and there like the Thando Thabethe and Boity comments but generally it’s light jokes. We have become too sensitive in SA and perhaps I understand why but I love that in this interview, they made fun of him as well and he laughed it off.

Every story has got 2 sides , and it was great hearing Fresh's side of the story.

Lazy desktop journalists will watch this episode more than once (or ten times), just to pick what would be a selling headline in the Sunday papers. That is the world we live in . In fact, some are starting to pick few seconds clips, just to push their narrative. Lately, all the profiles about our heroes are taken from this podcast.

That was an epic interview. I used to do the basketball update with Udo on Fresh’s show when Proverb was the producer. It did a lot for basketball in this country. Thanks for asking the tough questions but for also sharing Fresh’s story. We needed to hear this.

I performed Live as an opening act where Dj Christios; Dj Ganyani and Dj Vinny Da Vinci were playing This OG’s are so humble it’s unbelievable; sat with us at the band’s table and just jelled to the conversation we were having - No superstar tendencies; condescension; instead they were like just rooting and so encouraging to the band like they came there as fans - how they were with the crowd too; genuine; patient; taking picture after picture without feeling irritated A lot to learn from this living libraries✊🏾

Great interview.. Inasmuch as we have huge problems with GBV in RSA! There's also a huge chunk of people who are victims to false rape allegations and these unfortunately are overshadowed 😭

That advert part is way too dope😂😂

There is so much content out there that I mostly skim through everything with the exception of this show.

Great interview. My only concern though is when an interviewer asks questions with pre-meditated answers. If you screw groupies that does not mean everyone does that.

Sol has always been a beast, i remember his show on YFM with Eda Rose. I feel like radio DJs on YFM were/are the truest version of themselves, unfiltered, the likes of Dineo, Tholi B, Ankletap, AYANDA MVP, Sizwe, Mantsoe etc

Dj Fresh is right, when he left Metro I stopped listening to the breakfast show. I now just play music on my way to work. Enjoyed this interview so much.
