I researched your favourite dish. Japanese Curry. I went out and bought all the ingredients and made it from scratch. It was delicious and a regular dinner here now. Thank you

You can buy some instant roux cubes too to make it 😁
Seeing the Oki Island locals come out to see the ship off were so sweet! And to offer free things to ship's passengers! That's definitely not something you would see with other cruise destinations!
Fun fact, the beerenberg farm strawberry jam on your breakfast table is from just down the road from me, Hahndorf South Australia :)
Love seeing the local people in these vids, they are so nice and appreciative.
Wonderful video. You're correct that the tender is one of the lifeboats used for ship evacuation! Nearly all cruise ships have a few of their lifeboats that are outfitted to be used as port tenders. It serves dual purpose. The ship is able to bring its tender boats with it so it doesn't have to rely on the port having tenders available, and it keeps the crew up to speed with operation of the lifeboats and all of their associated equipment to deploy and retrieve them. It's pretty neat! I've been on a few cruises, and I always like watching them launch and retrieve the tenders on tender port days.
Ahhhh part 2 " Now with extra curry " . All is well with the world. Thank you Solo Travel San, may your journeys always be good one and the curry always hot.
Very nice. Thank you. (The absence of the "!!" or "!!!" tells us of the tasting verdict...)
The armrest you were going to edit out and turn into lost and found was not an armrest it was where the chef keeps his secret recipes for a traditional beef curry. He lost them and can't find them anywhere You almost lucked out

it always gets me a chuckle. I remember a video where he had piece of baked potato next to a piece of broccoli, and referred to each of them as individual salads. I wonder if it's an inside joke.

I can neither read nor speak Japanese, but as soon as I saw "!!", I knew the word "curry" was on that menu somewhere
Sunflower Sunflower May the sun not provide the wrong sort of cake…
Every time I watch your videos, I get more and more amazed about how japanese people are kind, polite and respectful. Also, i get hungry 😂 One of my lifetime goals is to visit Japan one day.
Amazing local people. Just amazing.
The homes and birdsong on Oki were absolutely lovely. :)
With you as our guide, STJ, we get to see places in Japan we'd never know to see as Western tourists. Arigato.
I would love a "How to find the best curry..." video! 🙂
My dear friend, on another amazing journey, be safe. Have fun, much love life to the fullest, my friend
The !! always brings a smile. 😊
I was inspired by your addiction to curry. I found a good Japanese restaurant in Melbourne Australia and had a chicken katsu curry that changed my life. I’ve introduced my friends to Japanese curry and we are slowly working through the entire menu. It’s delicious. So thanks. 😊
"I am ready to eat". 😃😂
I was looking forward to this one 😄 Thank you
Very interesting trip; nice island to visit. People seem friendly. Good food as is usual with smaller cruise ship. I really enjoy your comments and sense of humour.!!
I love your sense of humor and your wonderful appetite!!!❤Lovely video!
Due to health I am housebound and only able to travel through video excursions. I watched both 1&2 and found your trip to be an absolute delight to behold! I could almost taste the curry. Thank you so much for posting this adventure.

Your appetite is very impressive. If I ate like that I would have to spend a lot more time sleeping.
def not feeding him enough if he's been eating multiple burgers a day on the side lol
I Enjoy Watching Your Videos, I Especially Like How Your Videos Make The Viewer Feel As If They Are The One On The Journey. I Can Hardly Wait For Your Next Video.
You should have told the waiter to just bring the rice cooker on a tray and you'll eat direct from there. 24:01 Art is for walls, Roast Beef for stomach.

I'm glad you found your soufflé cake in the end. You're lucky you get to train with the Meiji University rugby squad, otherwise all that dining would ruin you.
9:42 and 10:21 I can hear people speaking in Tagalog in the background. Nice to know that Filipino tourists also taking ferry tours around Japan instead of the usual Shinkansen.
Love your content. I love to see all the places you travel to and the food you eat. Always look forward to your videos ❤❤❤
The island looks so peaceful.
Went on my first cruise last year and had a blast. I don't understand why people hate cruises. I had a 5 night all inclusive trip to the Bahamas for less than the cost of a room near the beach! I also cruised on one of the smallest carnival ships. It "only" 2 water slides and just one pool had a 3 story waterfall lol. Will definitely go back and try one of the monster ships.
A boatload of food! Did you teach the conference in curry? This was great, STJ. But how come you don't weigh 400lbs? Arigato very much!
Yes, there is definitely a need for that best Japanese curry video. And you're the man to do it 🙂
To me the pancakes with blueberries are better and omelette with no ketchup. Glad you didn't edit out the arm rest, that was funny. When you get off the ship for stops, I always worry if you will get back on time. You should of said, I'm ready to eat art, LOL.
Such a nice sized ship for quick rest with break at some beautiful islands as a bonus. Enjoyable videos.
Did you know when we eat prime rib, which is considered the best cut of beef in America, we often eat it with wasabi? I used to live in Japan, and I love that our cultures intertwine.
I stayed on this memorable shop for 1 month during a student exchange program. Missing my cabin 330!
Great video!
I´m glad you got have a curry breakfast STJ! I hope you enjoyed the cruise, thank you for sharing this experience with us! 😊I´m already looking forward your next vlog. Take care.
26:09 my family has always eaten Horseradish with our beef. (Mostly roast beef & prime rib) But I absolutely love wasabi, so since it is a staple ingredient/condiment in my home I have taken to using wasabi in place of traditional horseradish & it is just a lovely addition to the beef. I have you and your videos to thank for that. I’ve even started eating wasabi with a nice steak. 🤤 😃
I’m so glad they serve hamburgers whenever you want. I don’t want you getting hungry!
The art on the menu is beautiful! Thank you so much for the video!

Thanks for Episode 2. Saved may day ❤
We need a curry video! Thanks for another amazing video!
Great trip. Overall great experience, especially when visiting Oki Island.
Much better than the last cruise but still for that price they serve you tiny food. Because you had to get so many hamburgers. The tomato on the burger was generous. Why no syrup for pancakes and French toast I wonder? Make woukd be expensive but fruit syrups would be good.🎉
Looks like you had a great time. Can’t wait for the next adventure.
That first soup looked like ham, cabbage, and potatoes. It's a staple for winter meals where I live. Very hearty, but also light somehow...
Thank you. Very beautiful video. ❤❤
lovely and cozy ship! love the lougne areas so relaxing and nice play to hang out w great window views
There is always a need for more curry content on KZread.
sun flower, sun flower , the sun will protect us now . lets go now.
I love the interia design and those big round windows. 😊 Beef curry, you have an oblication to try it, for us the fans😊
What a nice cruise.
added the Oki islands to "places i need to visit in Japan." They look lovely.
great series!
I must admit I had to reread the "Horse Mackerel" the first time i just saw a horse, i was like wtf... 😅 Thanks for talking us Solo 😊
No syrup on your pancakes?
yes the roast beef was amazing , the tinny slice they gave you was a tease . i hope you got a lot of extra bread my friend solo.
Oki Islands seem like a really friendly place! And that curry kishimen sounds tasty. I hope you really enjoyed this trip. I know sometimes you have to take trips you don't really like.
All you can eat karē?!? You are in trouble 😬
I love the mini boat cruise you go on they always looks so fun. But question the squid 🐙 character um can I run up and hug him its so cute a plush of him would be awesome 😊
Lovely.
I would love to see a video about curry in Japan. Currently, I go to a ramen shop near where I live that has a karrage curry over rice.

Curry recommendation video? Yes please! Ate at gogo curry twice on my last trip and it was excellent, would be great to get some more tips from the pro, actually surprised there hasn’t been such a video on this or your other channel yet!
You and those hamburgers made me laugh. 😂❤❤❤
Tender is the tender.
Amazing ship
Really enjoyed this trip if I ever make it to Japan would love to take this cruise and will look for a man holding a bowl of curry and rice 🍛.
This dinner looked better than the previous one , the roastbeef needed some potato dish either gratin or potatocroquettes . You ate all their burgers.
I am looking forward to your presentation of "How to find the best curry for you in Japan". I will not visit Japan until I see the complete presentation, I don't want to waste my time finding sub-par sources of energy.
As much as I like Japanese curry - I really could not cope with it for breakfast. The rest of the offering looked great.
I heard somebody in 18 minutes video speaking philippine language. sounds interesting.
I knew when you said something salty. Hamburger 😂😂😂
@ 28:45 Now that is a generous serving of broccoli salad.
Alll All you need are cheese ,curry, chocolate ,and your set The breakfast looked like the best meal. I would of lived of hamburger and hotdog
Interesting. On bigger cruises, the locals don't usually like swathes of tourists being dumped at the port. But I suppose if the tourists are not too numerous, and are Japanese, it's all good 😊
Not sure if you're serious or not, but I would 100% watch a video from you about how to find the best curry in Japan!
Alright!
Nippon Maru!!! I was in cabin 219 for a japanese program 😊 SSEAYP ❤
Literally : Thanks for coming and we will see you off.
Either the food isn't that good or the portions are incredibly small considering how many hamburgers you've had on this journey.
