Thanks again for the DK sock pattern. My friend is an indie dyer and she asked me to test a new base she wants to release soon. It’s fingering, but held double, I was able to knit a full pair of socks in 4 days. I LOVE it (DK socks, your pattern and her new base). I like lightly speckled yarn, tonals and self-striping yarn the best. Not variegated yarn because it pools. I do like marling 2 colors together too. I've never tried a sock blank before. I would probably unravel it, steam it, then ball it up before knitting it.
