My company, Equinix, sponsored a seminar yesterday where the foster system was discussed. There was a panel of women who grew up in foster care. All three, of them, one a graduate of Harvard, one a graduate of Stanford, all discussed how social workers were their life savers and helped guide them through all of their difficult situations. I thought of you. You are really making a difference in people's lives. So thank you.

Wow, thanks for sharing this… sometimes as a social worker you wonder if the work really matters as much as you think, or if people care that you do the work. I am really glad these people have made a difference to others! We are in this together.

Hello, I just found your channel and I subscribed, your pants turned out beautiful, I also just purchased a sew liberated course on the Noctune pajama pants and the Hinterland dress as well as the Estuary skirt, I am just learning to sew again after a 6 year hiatus, the very first thing that I made was the HollyBurn Skirt by Sewaholic patterns. Thank you for inspiring me to sew and your sweater turned out so comfy looking too.

I am finishing up a summer T in cotton, a lovely peach color. Pattern is Crocus, by Grace Melville. Finishing up the neck now, then seam the sides and I can wear it this summer!

Thanks so much for sharing your makes! I also wanted to say thanks for the links to how Me Made May started and what the founder had to say, I found that super helpful as I thought about my own challenge. It was especially good for me to hear that it's not about posting a photo every day as I find that aspect of how so many folks do it really hard. I'm taking the month to enjoy my makes (sewn and knit) and to slowly knit away on summer tees in fingering yarn.

Just got the oh dang in evergreen and can’t wait to start the brume. Your lovely test knit helped me decide the color 😊 Did you bother alternating skeins?
