This is probably my favorite Bertcast's of all. Felipe is hilarious. It really felt like you two were just chilling and talking.

Felipe is the shit. I remember watching him and Gabriel Iglesias when I got snuck into a comedy show when I was 10. Before anyone knew who these guys were in like 1998.

I loved felipe on the Church of whats happening now live show with Joey Diaz still one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

So strange, grew up with this guy, awesome to see him on TV and doing great. I hung out with his younger bros, cool guys.

I'm a new subscriber precisely because you have recognized Esparza's greatness. I am an anglo physician and I too find Felipe especially fascinating. I find your stuff funny also, but until today had no idea you were humble enough to understand the wise advice you were given about not suing. Humility and detachment are really the keys to greatness. Felipe moves quickly freeing himself from emotional energy tied to old beef. Very smart

***** I love it cuz though I didn't grow up in a hood as fucked up as Felipe and didn't see half the shit he did, I know exactly what he's talking about in all his stories in one way or another. Funny seeing people like Bert flip out hearing stories that are "normal" 'til you leave the neighborhood. Also, the questions he asks, like, "why the suits?" when referring to the cops. Cuz cops in suits knocking on your door mean detectives that want to ask you a couple of questions. Which makes you shit yourself cuz you start going over the catalog of shit that you've done that might not be so legal. You only got a couple seconds to gather yourself and then play it cool, let the detectives tell you what they know, not the other way around. Come on, Bert, keep up. haha

Huge fan of both podcasts. Keep em coming Bert.

The more I find out about Bert the more I dislike him. Anybody could have lived his life and become a jolly fat guy who rides "coasters" he just got lucky over and over and over again. Felipe & Joey Diaz's lives would have ended up killing or permanently incarcerating 99.9% of people if they were anybody else. That's why they're such genuine and gravitating comedians and people in general... Total opposites of Bert.
