    Hi Susie. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I am really enjoying making the podcast. After thinking about doing it for ages, i finally took the plunge. There is a lot of learning, especially with editing. And i want to try a new program so there will be more learning when i switch. Good thing i like to learn new things. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and i am so happy to hear you are enjoying the podcast.

    Great first podcast. Also always interesting to have some Australian 'content' -as much as I love European knitting and knitwear we are in a rather different climate - well much of the time. Beautiful Ranunculus whichIi can see I must eventually knit - especially if it turns out as lovely as yours !!

    Thank you so much Della for your lovely comments. Ranunculus was a really quick knit as well, being on such large needles and relatively low yardage. I am already thinking of making another one. :)

    Hello, just found you on youtube, nice to hear an Australian voice,you are a gifted knitter, i have been watching youtube since COVID, i do love watching different crafts but lately the knitting ones i have liked because of all the lovely yarns that are available and the projects that people make, i am amazed, i have never been a knitter but lately have been making a few plain scarfs, i wish someone would have taught me when i was younger, but i do other things and i took a watercolour colour class a few years ago now, so i am happy. I have started painting wooden things and doing transfers and gold leaf which is more my thing. I was pleased to come across your podcast and look forward to watching again. Kind regards pamela hall

    Thank you so much. I plan to make it a regular thing - it wasnt as hard as i thought it would be (like most things) and i would like to get a bit more skilled at it over time. The difficulty is when you feel you have to know everything before you start. It puts you off just jumping in and giving yourself a chance to get better.

    I am enjoying your channel so much that I decided to go right back to episode 1. I wish my principal would let me knit while on playground duty! I am not allowed to knit in staff meetings either unfortunately. I am a teacher in Quebec, Canada. Love hearing your talk about each of your projects. Happy knitting~Margaret of My Wonderful Knitting Life podcast.

    Thanks so much Margaret. I am so glad you are enjoying the channel. I am sorry you arent able to knit during meetings and other duties. If instructed, I will always comply with directions at work. But i recognise that am fortunate at work where the people i report to understand that I can be fully present in meetings and knit (even more so, for me) and that knitting on playground duty actually provides a point of conversation between me and the students. Teachers are professionals. I wish we were always treated as such. x

    Hey, what size ranunculus did you do three or four?

  • @mostlyknitting

    @mostlyknitting

    Жыл бұрын

    The pattern is really oversized and my bust is 32” so i made the smallest size and my gauge was a bit tighter. I was getting 16 sets over 4” instead of 14. I just measured the FO and the finished measurement was 40”. It really is a great pattern and a lot of fun to knit. I made did the high neck case on as well. Thanks for watching and for commenting. 😊
