Perhaps Igor can become the coach of an ISL club. I see some progress that He brought to Indian football. In the past the players could barely pass the ball to each other. You did good coach. I am a nonresident Indian from South America and amazed how Indian government and AIIF are hindering the progress of football. It is a not wise ruling to not allow PIO players to play for the National team. Nearly all nations allow their foreign players to play for their National team. Only Indian not. We NRI Indians will do much better then Indians in football. My Father who was manager of a footballclub in South America taught me a lot. His generation was so good in football that they managed to beat Brasilian professional clubs in friendlies,. You are a great coach Igor Stimac

To raise the standard of Indian football the number of teams in the ISL should be increased to 20 teams as in the English Premiere League or Laliga or Bundesliga. Atleast 1 stadium FIFA approved standard should be built every year in major cities in India.

great comment by the coach around 52:00 minutes, Indians don't like whipping or jolting to wake up, they are always very comfortable inside their comfort zone, especially the bureaucratic aspect of India.

Things that Igor saying slightly make sense. First, we need to swap the authority with good hands, and second, we need to bring someone (coach) who can scout players and utilise it to the fullest.

50 plus one is an interesting name to choose for the new podcast as that term is more closely associated with German football. All the best on this new endeavour but I hope this does not mean the end of injury time India.

We just have to take a look at Wikipedia page of national teams to know how dedicated they are to the national team. One of the things I have noticed on Oman national team's Wikipedia page is a complete list of support staff. India meanwhile didn't update players list when the match against Afghanistan and Qatar was going on. Nothing short of sh*t level dedication.

To truly elevate Indian football, we must support constructive criticism and give coaches the time they need to deliver results. However, politics consistently interferes, disrupting progress at every turn. It's crucial to prioritize grassroots development if we are to achieve our long-term goals. Sadly, financial resources meant for grassroots are often misused or mishandled, which only hampers our growth. I'm particularly frustrated with the current leadership of the Football Federation. Leadership should be driven by passion, collaboration, and a commitment to the sport's advancement, not by personal agendas or external influences. We need leaders who work alongside their colleagues, support staff, and the football community as a whole. The current trajectory of the FA is deeply concerning, and I cannot hide my disappointment. We deserve better, and it's imperative that we demand accountability and transparency for the sake of Indian football's future. ❤🇮🇳🇮🇳⚽️

AIFF made the right decision by firing Stimac, we were not playing good football nor were we getting results. Failure to qualify for the next round of the world cup qualifiers is a major setback for the growth of the sport in the country. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

AIFF is not doing enough. Our football was bad in the 80s compared to top teams in asia and it is bad now too. Other teams in asia and else where have and are improving by leaps and bounds. We are still struggling even in SAAF and is no way near top 10 teams in Asia. How many decades does AIFF need to fix the league, introduce relegation , longer leagues and so on. The problem is poor adminstration , structure and implementing plans to improve footabll in country.. Disappointed with the adminstrators of AIFF and how it is run. What was the reason for abandaning Indian Arrows. ? No vision 😡 Most of the good players playing now are from indian arrows.

I think India will never improve. Football tournaments or leagues in India are more like khep tournaments. Those who are in the AIFF committee of India, what are they doing? India has the highest number of boys playing football, but why is it not improving? 90% of the 100% football players in India are playing in non-professional football tournaments. And as many football tournaments as there are in India, there is no such league in any country. Kolkata league ends in 1-2 months. Durand Cup ends in 15 days. Super Cup ends in 15 days. ISL or I league is not weekly, only one country we in India play league daily. Santosh Trophy ends in 1 month. If you don't give 100% players a chance to play for 10 months, there will be no progress in this country. Example West Bengal boy, Kolkata ka premier league is playing for small team this league will end in 1 month. What will he do next? Can anyone tell? If he plays this 1 month, is he being given 12 months salary? Or that boy will try to earn 12 months by playing khep tournament? Football is a profession with a time limit of 16-35 years, take a look at the people who will pursue this profession. Don't kill those who want to enter this profession in this way. But this is the curse of India.

Ranjit bajaj is so biased, i never thought i would say this.. seriously man!! Stop this nonsense!! You said no coach will like to come India if AIFF sach mr. igor stimac, but see over 300 coaches applied for the job. Yes I like igor sir, and respect him.. but things not always go the way we want.. time will give answers.. good luck to him. But Ranjit, Why are you misleading fans? You also said wrong about the new AIFF's guidelines about private tournaments. Really I didn't expect this from you. Sach a shame!!
