Epiphone 150th Anniversary Sheraton- My New Favorite Guitar!

Музыка

Here are my thoughts on this beautiful Epiphone 150th Anniversary Sheraton after owning it for 6 months.
This is one is part of Epiphone's Inspired By Gibson series. Before the Inspired by Gibson Custom ES-355, we had this lovely guitar.
Let me know what you think below, and if you have any questions about it.

Sounds great. I have the Epihone Casino and love it too. Saving up to buy one of the Epiphone VB Firebird's for Christmas.

Ooh that’s a great one too! I’d love to get my hands on a Casino at some point. I bet those P90s work well with the hollow body. Those Firebirds look sweet too!! I wish you success in that! 🤘🏼

@@AlexRGuitar Yes, it's a good combination, you get the acoustic quality with the bell-like sustain. But then the P90s are very sensitive / responsive. And that slight pleasant smoothing of the highs compared to humbuckers. Then with gain gets a nice spanky, crunchy sound with hair on it.

@@compucorder64 Makes total sense, it really sounds like a great combination that works together nicely. I have to say these mini HBs really do a great job on this Sheraton. I think they definitely add clarity and lightness to it.

Is that a Fender Villager 12string I see in the back on the rack?

Ah no, it’s actually just a 6 string Takamine

I’d put my epiphone Les Paul standard up for looks, build and tone against any of the Gibson Standards I’ve seen

It seems to me that's the way now. The quality in their China factory is so good, so basically we are paying more for Gibson because it's made in the USA, and a few minor things. I'm definitely impressed with Epi.
