Dr Bruce Lipton is an internationally recognised biologist, author, and pioneer in the new science of epigenetics. He is most well known for the idea that beliefs influence gene expression and that biology is not determined by DNA. Dr Lipton is the author of three books, including: The Honeymoon Effect, The Biology of Belief, and Spontaneous Evolution.
In this conversation, we explore:
- The science of epigenetics and how our environment (both internal and external) - influence how our genes are expressed
- Dr Lipton’s views on consciousness and the current state of humanity
- How our subconscious beliefs are programmed before the age of 7 and how this causes self sabotage and internal conflict later in life
- Practical things you can do to reprogram your subconscious to experience more flourishing
And more.

Dr Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, is an internationally-recognized leader in bridging science and spirit who is best known for the idea that genes are influenced by belief and DNA does not control biology. A stem cell biologist, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, and recipient of the 2009 Goi Peace Award, he has been a guest speaker on hundreds of TV and radio shows as well as keynote presenter for national and international conferences.
Dr. Lipton began his scientific career as a cell biologist, receiving his PhD degree from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville before joining the Department of Anatomy at the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine in 1973. Dr. Lipton has taken his award-winning medical school lectures to the public and is currently a sought-after keynote speaker and workshop presenter.
In 1982, Dr. Lipton began examining the principles of quantum physics and how they might be integrated into his understanding of the cell’s information-processing systems. His breakthrough studies on the cell membrane showed that the outer layer of the cell is an organic homolog of a computer chip, the cell’s equivalent of a brain. His research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine between 1987 and 1992 revealed that the environment, operating through the membrane, controls the behavior and physiology of the cell, turning genes on and off.

The industry of programming in the United States is currently greed/insecurity & material based. Sheep are similar followers. We seem to be finally individually reprogramming - into a healthy collective awareness. Some are still leaning into small cult collectives...others understand it's global/universal.

Great podcast. You left a lot on the table, not digging more deeply into PSYCH-K. Such a simple process. Essentially, psycho-kinesiology.

This is so annoying. We know next to nothing about the limbic subconscious - for example in the evident trauma reflex deprogramming process - and tampering with the persona constructed aged 8 is about the most dangerous and irresponsible thing you can do. I know from experience, the Tavistock Clinic lied when I was a child, and when my life service presented a very different reality, I ended up with two truths, and grief as I had to go through resolving the ambiguity. The anger from the first step is unquenchable. So it's very glib, reprogramming the mind.

@@user-pd5qz2vt2c Rubbish. You just ditched your morality. These monsters have simply continued the sick history of Bedlam. When Binet gave them a yardstick, did they study both extremes? They did not. They went for the weak, children and low IQ, because these lacked the self-confidence to tell them where they got off. My anger was obvious, and stemmed from a natural process, but remains despite the rest of the process being completed. At that point I sought its root, and found it righteous, rather than self-righteous, although that in and of itself would have sufficed. I'm angry because almost everyone who pitches up on neurodiverse self-support sites is traumatised. Nobody on the top end gets any support, we just get told a heap of nonsense based on bullying teachers trying to protect themselves from exposure as failures. Just once in my lifetime did the profession actually listen to a high-functioning ND individual, Temple Gradin, and that was for only a decade. It produced nothing. Hans Asperger sent most of his patients to the gas chambers. Simon Baron-Cohen wants a eugenic solution. We're kept apart, a denial of human rights. The Hippocratic oath is the oldest medical watchword in the book, and goes beyond the recent abbreviation, First do no harm, to include doing no injustice to them. This is not what happens in this country. Abandoned by education (UDHR Article 26) they become marginalised, drifting into boredom and crime. In my case, I know that I had the GK of a 14 year old aged 8y6m, reported by The Tavistock Clinic itself. Why wasn't I taught at that level? There is no provision for high-fliers. When the Cabinet Office sought them, they came up empty, because they're routinely dispatched.
