Is epigenetics a well respected and aknowleged science? It is new to me and very interesting. I've done psychology and it basically says that the way you think can affect your genes. Stress may cause immunology problems, which can cause diseases. Can you pass on these diseases onto the next generation just because your existing genes are activated or disabled? In other words you basically can control if you get a diseases to an certain amount by lowering you stress levels and adjust your thinking true for example mindfullness or behavioral sciences? #youarewhathouthink.

Absolutely! The way we think in terms of things like prolonged stress can affect the way our genes are expressed and these changes are heritable!
