It’s a great city, my favourite in Spain actually. Hopefully you get to visit it soon
It's always special when Yoly is there with you. I love her sense of humor.
Sin desmejorar el resto de vuestros videos, os habéis superado, este es el mejor video del canal. ¡Que ganas de ir a Valencia tengo ahora! Simplemente una maravilla.
I’m amazed James and delighted of course with your videos. I’m in the Pyrenees mountains Spain and you speak Spanish without an accent. Very impressive 👍😂😂
Superb. Absolutely love Spain. Favourite food, people and country in the world. Great channel.
Ostrava Perrin… words can not describe this gem! We had oysters, canned sardines and the smoked sturgeon. We also had the house made vermouth..Worth every bite!
For higher end dining, you MUST try Rif Restaurante. You won’t be disappointed.
Morning tea sounds so regal 🧐. Nah it's just BRUNCH. 😂
As a vegan, I can tell you I nearly fainted at the sight of all the meat choices for the bocadillos at El Rei de l'Esmorçaret. Although, I must say it was a lot of fun to watch you guys give it the old college try and attempt the unthinkable with all the amazing food that was put in front of you. That place makes Subway sandwich shops in the US seem like child's play. Good Lord!
Live the vermouth section. I never had vermouth until I went to Spain last September. I had it every day while I was there! (7 days) different ones everyday! I loved it! Can't wait to go back to Spain and try more vermouth!
This couldn’t have come out in a better time! Going to Valencia tomorrow and will stay there for a week. Great video!

I spent a summer in Alicante with a Spanish family when I was growing up. Out of all the outstanding food, it was the Horchata de chufas that I loved the most. There was a little shop down the street that sold them along with pepitas and other snacks. I was there every day...

For me Alicante is better because it is quieter and if you are looking for tranquility it is better. And the food is delicious.
I‘m sitting with my son in nuevo Oslo. It‘s Perfect we are happy.
I used to stop for an almuerzo when out with my off-road motocycling pals in the mountains of the Sierra de Mariola. Never managed more than a medio bocadillo, caña and some olives. Sepia's my favourite. Great video!
I’m amazed you were at Nuevo Oslo! I’m sort of a regular there and it’s absolutely class. The daily menu for 11€ is just amazing in terms of sheer quality of the product. Good service, great food and Raul!
We just came back from Spain and in Valencia we always stay at Marques House Hotel. My wife has a good friend that lives there, but we've only stayed one night each time, however, on our next trip we are going to have to stay longer.
Very interesting 😯. Now you need to come to Mallorca and discover the famous "variats", the Majorcan equivalent of esmorzaret/tapas! 🍽️

What a video this is, I F'ing love Valencian cooking having visited Xabia for so long and cook so much at home, you two have such a natural way to eat and portray your enjoyment of that said thing without acting or becoming a character! Wonderful in depth researching and journalism. Thank you for putting culinary Espana back where it belongs! The Forefront!

My husband and I loved this video. Can't wait to get back up to Valencia to try some new places to eat. We went to Tasca Angel 3 times the last time we were there. Thank you
Great video! I will be in Valencia one week in june. Ostras Pedrin is now on my list & I took good note of the dishes you ate elsewhere. This video was a marvellous way to start a sunday morning in Canada. Let me dream! Hasta luego.
OMG - this is one of my favourite videos that you two have done…thank you!! I was in Catalunya in October/November and this video has me craving a trip to Valencia. It’ll have to wait though…I’m booked for Peru in May, and have a lunch reservation at Virgilio Martínez’s Central

Looks wonderful, daughter looks well and the food! Oh my, makes me want to be there. My best to you and the family. Thanks so much for sharing 👍😊😊
I live in Valencia and didn't know about some of these places. Cafe Madrid is a beautifully decorated place and the cocktails there are amazing. Boquerones are also one of the first things that I enjoyed eating in Spain. This is a great video and it is good that you got to Valencia and showcased our food. You looked like you had fun here.
I loved this video! Great selection of places! Bar Ricardo is a local legend - when I used to live in El Botanic literally every single neighbour recommended it to me.

Valencia is my dream city to move to and your video added another tantalizing layer onto why I can't wait to live life there! Your authentic convos with locals were so fascinating and seemed like they really captured the spirit of the culture. I love love love both of your personalities and how you interact with everyone with so much sincerity and curiosity! 🥘
I was in Valencia last September, what a wonderful city. So many places to visit but not enough time. That Agua de Valencia really packs a punch 😅🥴 Great video, thanks 🙏🏻
Thank you for nailing paella Valenciana .You do need to get out of town anywhere in Comunidad de Valencia.Just to see people who work those rice paddies, vegetables…I thought I was messing up when I used our Dungeness crabs in Seattle for my home made. Thanks for your redeeming partnerships .Anything traditional has it’s own story or comes from somewhere ,even rice itself was brought by Moors .
Great video of Valencian food. I lived there for six years. When I took my husband to Valencia years later, his favorite were tellinas. Yummy. Horchata con fartons- so good!!
that is glorious & heavenly food trip, kind of im getting hungry & tempting to those yummy food
Living in Valencia over 5 years now, I recommend paella cooked over wood fire as it's more traditional and the smokiness makes a huge difference.
Galicia has seriously amazing food, my Spanish mates took 4days off to show me around, there is a Tortilla restaurant just out of the city, that only serves Tortillas, nothing else. So good, I remember going to a Spanish restaurant in Nelson once, sparked my love of Spanish food.
I wish I'd have had this knowledge before going to Valencia last November! We aim to go back soon so looking forward to brunching 😊
I'm from Valencia and recently discovered that the almuerzo was only here!!! It's the best meal of the day
My wife and I watch you guys all the time and use your tours. We just did one of your tours in Rome and have one coming up in Madrid in June. Your tours are always great. BTW, on the way back home from Italy we viewed some of your videos on Iberia airlines.
Incredible! I’m stuffed just watching this program. Looking forward to a trip to Spain in October. Valencia is one of the cities we’ll be visiting. THANK YOU!
Hi James! Nice video, but make sure you mix "cremaet" next time hahaha, it's much better! Hope you enjoy Valencia
Love this food video tour. Yolie is the star of the food videos. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful places. 🤗🥰
I’ve been watching your videos for months and our turn is finally here!! My family and I will be in Valencia over the next 6 days before moving on to Madrid for another week for the new year. Can’t wait! Thank you for all your videos.
This video made us want to go to Valencia so badly. It is going on 4 years this coming July since we were in Spain. Oh how we miss it and want to go back so badly. Still waiting for my Spanish Sephardic Passport. So eager to go there . Because of your videos I have learned not to buy paella from just anywhere in Spain. I ordered Paella at a bus station in Malaga. It was edible but nothing like what you have shown on your channel. The one is this video looked like the chef put lavender on top as a garnish.

Here in Valencia we call paella (pan) just the "valencian paella" and rices with things (arros amb coses) all the other rices. The "rice in paella" they ate is a new recipe, with new invasive crap ingredient. Casa Carmela, Llar Román, or Casa Juan, are 3 great paella restaurants in Valencia, but you can go anywhere in El Palmar, and rices will be from good to excellent.

Bless you, I really enjoy and reminisce a family holiday and paella pilgrimage to Valencia. Best Tony

Just finishing off 3 weeks doing the Spain tour heavily inspired by your videos. Wow....what a country! We have quality produce in Australia but the food/wine scene in Spain is next level! I don't want to go home! Thanks for your great tips for Barcelona, San Sebastian, Madrid, Seville (wow), Grenada and Valencia! What a great country!

I'm going to Spain for vacation this May. Looking forward to eat those delicious food.
you guys are great!! Thanks! and keep up the good work!!!!
I have only been to Valencia once and do remember a good meal there, but you have blown what little cover Valencia might still have had as a culinary capital. I'm still in a food coma from just watching, not even following you around and eating all that incredible food myself. Since I will be in Valencia later this year, I will follow some of your footsteps but have to stretch what you and Yoly ate in 3 days to extend to maybe a week! It's so much fun to watch Yoly's expression when she tastes something really good. She has no poker face when it comes to food. The yum is written all over. Thanks for making this video. Like others have noted, your food blogging is becoming as epic as the places you go and the meals you eat with so much happiness.
