Thanks for the suggestion on doing inside leather cuffs vs fabric. It makes sense. Once again I appreciate your feedback to my question. Always helpful to hear from someone, like yourself, who already has the product and not just my looking at an image on a computer/phone screen! BTW I sent them an email referencing your KZread posting and how impressed I was. In the message I asked if he would be doing any more events this year anywhere in the U.S. I think New York and Chicago would be good choices to attract big audiences. Here is hoping he does come back to the States so I can get custom measurements as well as see the jackets live. Very cool!

Let me know if he says he’s coming back to the states. I wouldn’t be too worried about him getting the size right if you can’t meet him in person though. He has this guide and you can just go to a tailor and ask them to help take these measurements. Or if you have a partner you can ask them to help. Whoa.....I am blown away by the 3 Thedi jackets in your KZread unboxing! Absolutely amazing. I will be reaching out to them to see if they have any more planned events in the U.S. so I can get custom fittings like you did. Now that you have had your jackets for a while any second thoughts on any of your custom features, things you had wished you had done, etc. You seem very knowledgeable with leather goods in general and I would genuinely appreciate learning from your experience specifically with Thedi. Thanks so much! I don’t think I’d change anything on any of them. Well, One thing I would note is I like inside leather cuffs. He made one jacket with the inside of the cuff is a really nice fabric but to me I think it’s going to get dirty and when it’s leather you can clean the cuffs.. other than that his designs are perfect. Definitely my favorite maker still. One day I plan on ordering more from him but need to save up some more side cash 😝 he’ll let you design your own jacket. It’s really rather cool!

Maaaaate. You're living my leather dream. Live in my Schott A2 all winter, but there are levels, and I dream of having something like that. Thanks for sharing. Sold on Thedi now.

So worth it! When I got my first Thedi I immediately wanted a second and then when I got the second I was like the wait is taking so long I need more next time.. so I ordered 3 the last time. I’ll probably order 4 next time lol got to make some more money tho lol!

All three are excellent. Now if I had to choose only one, I would choose the BADALASSI. My best Thedi Leathers jacket is the cafe racer MTC-D1279170 deerskin veg-tanned brown (6/2022). I live in Thessaloniki (Greece) and I am lucky enough to have one of the best leather jacket manufacturers in the world (Thedi Leathers) in my city.

Once again I very much appreciate your thoughts on how to get my sizing for the perfect fit. BTW his "size guide" is pretty cool. Having said that I also very much want to see his jackets in person as well as meeting and talking with him live to get his recommendations on options and to explore custom considerations. Should it turn out that he has no short term plans for events in the U.S., I do need to go to Germany, for business sometime over the next couple of months, so I just might schedule a side trip to Greece! Should he indeed have any events scheduled in the U.S. i will definitely let you know.

You're loving life. Awesome cars....great leather jackets. I'm surprised how few (if any) KZread videos there are on Thedi. I just purchased a black Iron Heart black battle edition (cafe racer type) because black goes with just about anything. I was going to pick up an Aero but I think the Thedi's stand out far more than run of the mill, love the cocoa color.

Will do. You can fit an iPhone 15 pro max in the inside pocket. It’s square inside. It can fit my wallet and my phone

I plan on making more heritage wear content and I’m also contemplating my new KZread handle and instagram handle. It needs a change this is my “aerosurferlv” channel name in a sense lol. I’d love to really start making more content. I’ve been watching yours and dales and Jake’s content for years and my wardrobe has been building up because of you guys! Theodoros is the best in the business. Communication is on the tougher side but if you have patience and don’t write a lot he should understand. He likes short and simple. Remember English is not his first language. If you want you can order through Carrie at thurston bros. Can’t go wrong with a Thedi

Thedi is top of the line. Personally like them better then some of the companies you mentioned. I was wondering how was the import bill?

He has come now twice but I don't know if he's coming back. He came for inspiration la last year and he came for something most recently for the stronghold shop. He has a few different styles at the stronghold now but you have to go in to see them.

They look fantastic, especially the Badalassi and Buffalo. What do you do for a living that you can afford three of these?!

I’m a picture car broker. But I also sold all my old saddleback leather collection and all my old mall brand jackets to buy more Thedi 😂. I’ve been collecting leather stuff for years. For a living I rent out my collection of classic cars as well as “vendors” cars that we broker out.

Those jackets look great dude. I’m so hesitant to buy something like that without being able to try it on first. May I ask, how did you hear about this brand.? And, what did the jacket cost? ( or, was it comparable to the price of say, a Schotts)

These were custom made for me. This was also my 3rd time ordering from Thedi-leathers. But basically I sent them my measurements and pictures of me. I found this brand on the fedora lounge. Compared to schott they’re about 1500-2200$ in price but quality doesn’t even compare on any level. This is like 10 tiers better than the stuff schott makes. The leather, the build quality the craftsmanship, is out of this world from Thedi. On my original quest for my first “real” leather jacket I found schott first. I actually went to the Los Angeles store and tried on about 10 styles.. I didn’t like the way they fit on me. That’s when I decided to splurge and get my first Thedi from thurston brothers.

Each jacket is custom and I believe size comes to play when Theo comes up with a price. Once you pick the model send him a quote request. Can also order from thurston bros

to my eyes guys over 35 should wear matte, textured materials rather than smooth, shiny stuff, suede jackets rather than leather, it's just a more refined, elegant look that doesn't scream trying too hard

@@RoadToHeritage it's not a "rule", everyone should wear whst he wants, but imho it's a good idea to dress your age and while leather jackets are a great look for young guys, middle aged men tend to look much better in suede and rarely look good in shiny stuff, not just my opinion, ask any stylist, but it's still just an opinion.

2-way zippers are 2-way for a reason, you're not supposed to zip them all the way down, looks like your mama dressed you.
