    I was just at The Noiz Faktory about a week ago doing a guitar clinic and taping some Live Playthroughs! Eric and the team were crazy accommodating and kind. Incredible facilities, incredible crew and all around pros. Great to see them on the channel!

    Very cool place. I started out thinking "No way is this place gonna be as cool as the dream studio in my head, man!", but now it IS the dream studio in my head, man. Could benefit from some interior decorating and colorful paints, but still very cool. I'm green with envy.

What we are trying to avoid is putting something up for the sake of putting things up only to decide we don't like it. We are just trying to avoid being wasteful with time and money.

    This has to be one of the best studios you’ve taken us to yet! When you pointed out the exposed floor in the door way and he said it was all decoupled, that was it, blown away! Everything in there is purpose based and well thought out without going crazy with flare. Nice, clean and to the point! Always look forward to these videos every week!

    This is my pie-in-the-sky type setup for my dream studio. Some acreage with a free standing studio purpose built for my needs. I wouldn’t need all the extra isolated spaces because it’d be primarily for me, but the big live room is what I would have if I had the means.

    One of the secret weapons you missed laying to the right of the main desk was the Ampero II by hotone. One of the best in the box guitar interfaces. Many people starting to use these. I have one and lets just say I am hardly ever mixing cabs now a days. I still do but that interface does it all and the IO is superb. Has everything for running external effects stereo, takes external pedals, lots of dip power you name it plus re amping. Just thought I mention it lol.

    @@ZiwaHD I'm glad you saw that video. That is Dave Del Valle and he is the studio designer, the speaker stand builder and the balcony rail designer and builder. Dave is massively talented and creative. When I tell people that I owe so many people for helping with this build I am trying to give credit where credit is due. Ultimately, I am grateful for everyone around me that has been willing to lend a hand to make this come to life.

    I think it's time for you to do a series on the business end of running a recording studio, large or small. I find myself wondering about the financing of a build like The Noiz Factory. Small business loan? Advertising/marketing. Rental rates. Et cetera.

    My unsolicited advice to you is avoid a loan at all costs. This was all done cash up front or as cash permitted. You do not want to be upside down to a bank for something like this.     The cables go under the floor through a trap door at both ends. The cables come up in to the rear rack. That's a good question. I hope this helps. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video.

    Did anyone notice the behringer monitor controller? 👀. They’re actually not bad at all! I had one and it worked and sounded fine!

    I have been rather impressed with the thunderbolt interfaces. When they go from off to on they just grab the audio in a split second and you don't even notice they they grabbed the audio.

    @@lc-b352 I did not build the desks in the 5 other production rooms. Those were built by Jeremy Hrabal of Wstlnd Guitars. The desk in the studio was built by Randy Pekinto and myself. I don't know where to direct your for a desk like mine for $500.00. However if you type in "recording studio desk" you should find something that meets your needs. I hope this helps a bit.

    @@lc-b352 I always hate when people ask questions and people either never respond or ridicule them for a question. The short answer is any question is a good question because it's a question that needs to be answered. When I needed help there was someone willing to lend a hand to me. I always try to make sure that I do not miss out on an opportunity to help someone else out. Regarding desks I wish I had an easy answer because they are never as low in price as you would like for what you would like to buy. I hope that I have been helpful to you and I hope you have a great day. 😀

    @@markclason2272 Absolutely! Their cables are 4 conductor Canare cables. I myself am about to buy four more cables for my medium rooms to get more sound out of my speakers. I apologize for the delayed response. I didn't realize there was a comment here. When you get the shrink wrap on you can choose the color and the text you want on. In my case I get tired of reading small font so I put green and the word speaker so that I don't need glasses and I know green is a speaker cable. Also, blue with the word instrument. My white XLR cables mean 25 feet and my red ones mean 50 feet. I hope this is helpful and I hope you enjoy your cables when you get them.

    I agree with you it looks unpleasant however with that many in's and out's there is no easy answer. Believe it or not just one of those cables handles 8 channels of audio. Imagine if those were individual XLR cables. That would be an even bigger mess. The nice thing is everything is super easily accessible. I greatly appreciate you sharing your thoughts.     @@AndrewMasters I understand. And it is a misuse of the word which *had* meant a work--typically written--that was long, majestic in scope, and historic in nature. War and Peace, or the Odyssey for example. This recent use to mean impressive, or simply "cool" detracts the word's meaning, the same way "awesome" is also used to mean cool, etc. It used to refer to things that actually inspired awe; the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls...not a pair of sneakers or the latest iPhone.
